Re: 2.2K rattle?

I know exactly what sound you're talking about. You've probably been hearing it more since the weather got cold. General Motors LSx V8's do the same thing- it's commonly referred to as piston slap. Some people on the frontier and Xterra forums became concerned about it and went to their dealers and ...

Finally took it in to the stealership and they diagnosed it as a failed heater core pump. This explains why the A/C temp could not be adjusted. Mechanically the A/C runs one temp and to increase the temp some amount of warm engine coolant is introduced to the system. When the heater core pump faile...

I forgot to respond to this thread. It got a little cold this past weekend and my AC was set to auto, 78 degrees. It was just sitting there billowing cold air until I pushed the mode button and selected split air level (foot/face). The temperature immediately changed to the appropriate heat and made...

I had this happen for the first time about a month ago. Everyone in my car was freezing and even with the temp turned to 80 degrees the car was not offering any heat whatsoever. Very strange.

I think it's the "correct" one. Mine was replaced in 2010 I think, and that's the part number I have. When this last came up on the forum that was the latest known "good" part number. Not sure where 2011 came from... Still, the bypass is cheap insurance! If you look through all ...

Whether you'll be happy with the Pathy depends largely on what you want out of it. If you're happy with your Xterra, you'll love the Pathfinder. And I agree that once you fix the barrage of known problems, you should have many good years. Here's a list of some of those convenience features I'm comp...

Real quick, are you all doing this upgrade yourselves or is it something best suited to a professional? The upgrade I was planning requires the lights to be shipped off and done by a professional. That project is getting moved farther and farther out for me, as I decided it'd be a better use of my ...

Don't hold your breath for one. It's not normal procedure for car companies to continuously update car media platforms. They provide map updates and that's about it.

I have an 06 Nissan pathfinder with 101k. The vehicle was purchased 4 years ago as a Nissan Certified Used Car with 34k on the odometer. I purchased it on a whim and drove from Cincinnati to Knoxville in a 93 Ford Explorer that did not have reverse :). Drove the Pathfinder home and noticed the brea...

What year PF are you running? I considered something like this but price seemed a little crazy last time I checked. I ended up adding aux lights to drastically improve my high beams....but the low beams are still blah. Followup after you do this with the details! I have a 2011. It's definitely expe...

I say go with the Lightwerkz FXR retrofit or nothing at all. Great projectors and output. Will be ordering mine in the next few weeks. What does the kit require in terms of cutting into the stock housings? As NVSteve mentioned above, you're going to have to pay to play with these. They cut into the...
