I voted "other" because I put 98 RON fuel here in france...
wich is something like the us Super Unleaded...I guess.

anyway, I don't use much fuel but rather LPG wich typically have octane ratings of 110 or significantly higher.

Yes that's it.
Now I have much more power and less noise, 850km of autonomy for the same cost usage of my 2.5Dci.

Hi, in france, the unleaded 98 is about 1.35€ per liter (1.9$) and the LPG is about 0.70€ per liter (0.98$) so the fuel economy is very good :) I did not notice any difference in acceleration and fuel consomation (15-18L/100km) (after 20.000km with LPG) anyway, the LPG kit cost 3500€ (4900$)!!! :sho...

Valves mecanism: hydraulic or not ? automatic adjust or not?

Hi,

I would like to know if the valve mecanism is hydrolic or not.
And if not, is it recommanded to perform an valve adjustement sometimes or maybe it's automatic?

Best Regards,

Manu

I mean reprograming it because I suppose the ECU is regulating the intake O² with the Lambda sensor. So with more air flow due to your direct intake kit, the ECU may reduce the air admission level to conform to the original O² ratio needed...see what I mean?

Thanks a lot for the report :)

A little bit disapointing...

May be it's because you did not change the exhaust or/and the ECU O² regulating process...

I like the actual look and feel of the forum and I prefer the small picture than a too big B&W logo...

I've seen many forum using visiting cards to promote themselves.

I like this one for exemple :
