Hey coom, sorry for the delay in response, regarding ur Q, pathys perform fantastic on long swaying dunes, a bit restricting on the smaller choppy ones due to the large turning radius. Cresting is a bit of a no brainer due to the lower ground clearance, but have just installed a 2inch OME lift.........

Am currently running 265/65/17s on stock alloys. Due to the market in the UAE, 17 inch tyres are few and far between, so am downsizing to the 16 inchers from an SE (swapping with a friend). Anywayz just put on a 2 inch lift and was wondering if anyone has tried the 285/75/16 set-up, do they protrude...

Had to change my stock battery after 8 months, the Middle east temperatures took their toll, replacement has done 26 months and still feels good.
Have got a yellow-top optima in my Patrol, been there 18 months and is very very good, will get one for the Pathy once the current one fails.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Over here only two models are available SE & LE, both 4WD and only 1 engine, the 4.0L petrol.
Not so big on Diesels here.

Great truck, taken it on many desert trips, intense power but the low groundclearence is its main downfall. I damaged b...

Taken the Pathy on various mountain/river trails - performed beyond expectations.
Desert trips were limited by low ground clearance, but power was exceptional.
