I also replaced my radiator at about 80K miles. If you go this route, check on Amazon's Warehouse deals store. I got a Spectra Premium radiator for $20 because it was an open box item. The radiator itself was in perfect condition and it has been working great!

I used to detail cars at a dealership and that's the one thing we did not power wash. To easy to damage electrical components in there. Take an industrial strength degreaser like Power Purple from walmart and spray everything in the engine compartment with that and then rinse it with a regular hose....
