Are the racks bolted down with a hex or torx? I am going to see if I can get one this weekend and want to bring the appropriate tools.

Thanks for that. So it sounds like the roof didn't get any special bracing. I almost want to take the headliner down and add some bracing underneath the mounting points to spread the load.

Hey guys. My 93 4 door doesn't have a rook rack. Think I could find one at a junk yard and put it on? Anyone do this? Not sure how they are supposed to mount so I'm curious as to what would be included. I'd like a stock one and then get one of those cargo baskets to mount to that when I need.

What's the best way to put a 2-4" lift on these pathfinders? I'd prefer to stay away from body lift. When I search for a lift I keep getting wrangler kits. [/i]

Very good stuff. Sounds like you are very familiar with these cars. Is the clutch in eBay link the right one?

Okay cool. Any special tools needed? Can the rear main deal be replaced from the outside? Only time I have changed one was on my 78 Trans Am. I was also replacing the clutch but I had to actually tear it all apart to get in there.

So I need to replace the clutch in my grandpas 93 XE 4x4. Looks like it is a 10hr job. What else should I be looking to replace/fix while in up in there? My uncle says I should replace the rear seal also. Which one would he be referring to? Is there a good link on here of someone who already did it ...
