If you all haven't done it yet, bypass the radiator on your transmission cooler lines. Or get the upgraded radiator that doesn't leak into your transmission and cost you thousand of dollars. This will most likely be my final post here since my pathfinder will be going up for sale in a couple day. Go...

I did buy a valve body with tcm attached. The guy claimed I would not need to have it flashed or reprogrammed. The install went well. The initial drive however did not. Reverse worked, so I backed it out of the drive way and proceeded down the road. 1st and second gears worked great. 3rd gear not so...

Well I bought a used valve body on eBay from a guy who garaunteed it for 3 years. I put it in today and found reverse to work great. Then 1st worked, then it shifted to second perfectly then third and my truck just slowed way down. Something is seriously messed up. Its worse off than it was. I'll fi...

Transmission troubles

I have had my 2006 SE for about 7 months now. It has given me so many problems I don't even want to list them. I am now possibly facing a transmission replacement but I figured I'd consult you guys before taking it in. I have never liked automatic transmissions and this one is no different. About a ...

It has been a long time since I've updated this thread. I can no longer endorse this set up. The Armada rear springs must provide some amount of lift even though they are .2" shorter. I have shaved a half inch off the spacers to try and get the alignment into spec. I am still at 1 degree of pos...

After having installed the Moog eccentric bolts in the rear I definitely agree with you. The disks are roughly the same thickness, but are apparently not hardened because the bolt gouged the disks pretty badly during adjustment. Plus the bolts were too long for the rear. I ended up adding 2 washers ...

Thanks for the link to the front suspension bolts SMJ. I don't need that though. I am asking about the rear end. The reason I asked about that part was because rockauto doesn't offer any rear suspension eccentric bolts. When I search part numbers on courtesynissan or nissanpartsdeal they appear to b...

Hey smj. Sorry to resurrect this 2 year old thread, but I'm encountering the same issue. I do plan to replace the 4 lower control arms just for their bushings. My bolts are seized into the bushings on both control arms on each side. I have been looking at all the bolt part numbers, but I don't quite...

Thanks thupertrooper. Once I put weight back on the wheels there was plenty of space between the UCA and the strut tower. It was only while it was hanging that they were close to contacting. So esentially, my downward travel stops just before the uca and tower meet. What is it you don't believe dibo?

Here are the spacers I made and 1 of the longer studs I was planning to use. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4180/34248619856_ac416a6fae_z.jpg This is on of the studs on my truck with the nut already on it and the washers added. There used to be about 1/4" that stuck up above the nut. Now there's...

Well, I made some 1/2" spacers for the top of the struts and even bought some longer studs to go in it. The trouble is the upper control arms hit the top of the strut tower when you force it in there. I just decided to put a pair of washers on each stud. They are about 3/16" thick together...

It says it can calibrate for tires up to 54 inches! I don't feel like you can have tires that big on the road legally. Thanks smj but I'll probably just have to deal with the difference. Or perhaps if I could find an off-road version and pull the abs parts off to make it match?

Adjusting the speedometer

I have actually searched for this, and I'm sure it's been covered, but I cannot seem to find much info on the forum about adjusting the speedometer for larger tires. I will only be going up to a 265/75r16 from the stock 265/70r16 (for now). It is only a 3.4% difference in size, which is only about 2...
