2005 Pathfinder Speaker Sizes

Hey everyone. At least one of my speakers is broken so I am going to be ordering and installing a new set. The vehicle already has an aftermarket head unit that is decent. This was a base sound system (non-bose). What size speakers do I need and how many? Is it just 1 in each door? (2 front, 2 back;...

Loose hose in engine bay

Hey all. I'm trying to diagnose a cooling system issue. My 2005 Pathfinder with 110k miles on the clock was overheating the other day and I noticed the coolant levels were very low. No puddling or obvious leaks. I refilled with coolant and couldn't spot an external leak. While poking around I notice...

I just installed mine today. For now I am running 7 on the front and 7 on the rear. I'll probably mess around with a few different settings though.

I have 175K miles on my truck now and it actually hasn't been terrible in terms of reliability. As one would expect, I've replaced a few suspension components, bushings, and have had a few portions of the muffler replaced. I've replaced the exhaust manifolds twice but that's a V8 thing. I also have...

I just put 265/75/16 E-Rated Duratracs on my rig and love them so far! I do get a slight rub with one of the mudflaps which I'll be trimming.

Looks good!

I'm about to do the same to my rig.

What are the torque specs you used in the front on the various bolts?
Also, do you have the torque specs for the rear shocks as well?

It was the dreaded SMOD. Transmission is toast. It started slipping yesterday. Luckily in New Mexico we have what's known as an implied warranty. It is valid for 15 days and 500 miles and covers severe failures. This means my transmission is covered and the dealer is on the hook for it! Looks like I...

Thanks. I'll take a closer look tomorrow and try to figure out what the previous owner did with it.

2005 Pathfinder - No Radio Reception

Hey everyone. I just bought a 2005 Pathfinder and have no radio reception. I opened up the dash and noticed the blue "Antennae Power" wire coming from the harness isn't hooked up to anything. I tried hooking that up to the blue/white amp power wire but still am not getting any reception. I...

Re: UPDATE!!!! Got the stereo operating at 100%!

Got the antenna amp hooked up and also got the steering wheel controls to work! The steering wheel control hookup was a little stressful since I could not find a wire diagram that seemed to match up with my Pathfinder. But I used my electrical meter and some reasoning to figure it out! Very happy n...

The tires do need to be replaced but the fact that turning off OD stops the issue makes me think it's more driveline related. I have all new Spicer u joints on the way so i'll try those out first and see if the issue is resolved.

How fast is the vibration? Rumble strips-fast is the transmission; bent rim-fast is usually the u-joints or driveline. I just went and drove around a bit more. I can't get it to occur every time but it seems to be more focused around 55-65 when in top gear. When it occurs it does seem rumble strip ...

Bought a 2005 Pathfinder! 40-60 mph vibration help!

Hey everyone, I picked up a 2005 Pathfinder with 105k miles yesterday. Overall it seems to be in a good shape. I made sure to check the coolant overflow tank and tranny fluid for signs of SMOD and all looks good. The radiator looks like it was replaced at some point. The only issue that I have is I ...
