My stock brakes rotors were very warped (or probably it was pad buildup) at 86k. Did all 4 corners with S14KF1180 EBC STAGE 14 LIGHT TRUCK/SUV KIT. It came with their OEM replacement RK rotors and GreenStuff 6000 series pads. I also replaced all the brake hardware and rubber boots on the slider pins...

My 0.02. I have Auto mode, but if you don't, you aren't missing much. I've been doing a ton of snow driving lately and find that Auto is slightly better than 2wd, but 4wd is much better. This is because Auto needs slip to engage the front axle, but 4wd is already locked in.

Love my '12 LE. Just passed 88k miles with no significant issues. It fits in the garage, tows my 8x12 enclosed trailer with the dirt bikes no problem, is comfortable, and can hold a lot of people and/or junk. I don't really offroad much, but it sees plenty of forest service roads and the occasional ...

Noisy Driver's Seat Mechanism

Sliding the power driver's seat forward and back on me 2012 LE is resulting in an intermittent grinding noise. When this happens, the seat has a slight shake and the movement slows down.

It seems to me that something is in need of grease. Thoughts?

I gave up and took it to the dealer. I need the trailer brakes as I am about to leave on a trip. Turns it the culprit was the 30 amp fusible link. While it looked OK, the tech tested it and found that it had failed. So, for anyone else that has a similar problem in the future, make sure to test this...

I checked and even replaced all of the fuses having anything to do with towing. This includes the fuses in the main fuse block, plus the fuses in the next box in front of the main fuse box. Unfortunately still no power.

Seems like its time to take it to the shop.

Well, I have gone through all the fuses that have anything related to towing and dont see any with a broken wire, but a few look scorched. I'll replace them and see what happens.

Well, the fusible links don't look open to me.

Any suggestions on where to look next?

Brake Contoller Fuse

My Tekonsha P3 brake controller stopped working on my 2012 Pathfinder LE. I made a dumb mistake and disconnected it while the ignition was on. The end of the harness somehow managed to touch something metal and spark. I know, that was dumb. All of the trailer lights still work, so I tested the brake...
