That’s great. My understanding is that most leaks are related to either the sunroof drain wor windshield.

Yeah, to avoid problems with leaks I would just have a specialist or shop do the windshield.

I bought a 2002 SE with 165k with the understanding that mechanically it would be fine but I would need to replace things like sensors. Biggest thing is that it is rust free. If you are buying from somewhere which uses salt in winter have that really inspected esp around the shock towers. Also have ...

If you can move it with the engine running, but not with the engine off wouldn’t that point to a problem with the power steering system since it receives power when the engine runs?

So everything is good again...well after replacing the IACV, TPS, and getting my ECU rebuilt by Circuit Board Medics. Next week Im going to have the coolant lines bypass the IACV so this issue "p0505 spiking the ECU" problem doesn't happen again.

So based on the burnt smell in the cabin I'm pretty sure my bad iACV (p0505/p0506) fried the ECU; going to pull it and open the cover to verify damage. Cranking it also burns out the 10A EICC2 fuse in the left-side fuse box. I'm sending that out for repair, there's a place in Atlanta which does that...

Ok. I replaced the MAF yesterday and this morning it would turn over then die unless I kept the gas on; under those conditions I drove to work just fine. Leaving work same thing but it died on the side of the road and wouldn't even turn over. Battery is strong. Dashboard brake light stays on regardl...

2002 SE stalled last night.

So driving home last night the engine cut out and the dash displayed the SES, battery, airbag, and brake lights. I initially thought alternator, but the thing is that the battery was still strong and was able to crank the engine and drive home stalling once or twice more before getting there. If the...

Can you get the wheels off the ground to listen for where the sound is coming from? I posted on one of the R50 FB groups, will post any responses.

Before you replace the motors, clean the window tracks and spray some silicon lubricant in them. Mine went from not rolling them up well, to acting just fine.

P1145

Upon reading more about this it seems that you can get this issue if you ignore your oil change intervals or general maintenance.

So far it had been showing up as a pending code without the CEL on. I got an oil change, cleared the codes, and so far it hasn't come back. LOL.
