Re: Front wheel bearing 4wd vs Awd

Thanks guys! I see now all 2012 pathfinders were either 4x2 or AWD, so I'm splitting hairs, lol.

Front wheel bearing 4wd vs Awd

Hey there, time to change a front wheel bearing hub assembly. RockAuto offers hubs for "4wd" and "4wd, AWD" My initial thought was that one brand just bothered to add AWD to 4WD, but then I thought maybe it's a different hub if you have AWD option. I do have AWD option on my 2012...

Re: Air Conditioning Advice

Following up on this one, I did have Kal top it off $260. They did the negative pressure test for leaks (or whatever) and there were none. Spent the summer with great air conditioning. Here’s hoping it holds for next year. The compressor still sounds pretty growly, but only at idle I believe. Can th...

Re: No tow/haul button…

Hi Justin, I posted about my own learning experience towing with my 2012 SV a couple years back: https://www.thenissanpath.com/topic20753.html In short, my towing issues were more about my own lack of knowledge than the R51. I had been trying to drive too fast with too much payload. She performed a...

No tow/haul button…

Hi, I have a 2012 V6 4x4 pathfinder with the sport shift style transmission. I don’t have a tow/haul button and the owners manual says nothing about what to do if you don’t have a tow/haul button. My thoughts are since there is no overdrive, there is no need for tow/haul…maybe? I’m in the market for...

Air Conditioning Advice

Hey all, So i had been topping off my a/c annually, and this year it didn't take when they added a can at my local oil change shop. The compressor got really growly and they said, sorry take it somewhere else that compressor needs to replaced, you're looking at $2k. So my neighbourhood shade tree me...

Re: Middle Seat Removal

Awesome, thanks folks! This one happens to be above the gas tank... so I'll cut off the head of the bolt and it'll fall down, and ideally not jam something up under there, or maybe it'll still be in place but loose and I can figure something out.

Re: Middle Seat Removal

I'm considering removing the center seat from the center row. It's a 2012. Will nuts or bolts fall through the floor after I remove them? I'm concerned that they may either fall on top of something around the driveshaft and get lost/wedged, or worse, I'll loosen them, find out I can't access the ot...
