Re: Making Headlight Adjustments

Fred's pdf was for the R52. Does anyone know if the headlights are significantly different for the R53?

Making Headlight Adjustments

Is there a way to calibrate the headlights on the R53 Pathfinder? Asking for a friend.

No sidewall height (or tire width for that matter) is going to help prevent curb rash. You'll just gave to be careful when you parallel park.

Years ago (I'm talking the 50's), cars used to have curb feelers that would make a noise when they scraped the curb that alerted you when you were too close.

You shouldn't have an issue with that setup. But contrary to what you said, it's a taller tire that helps protect the rim from pothole damage, not a wider one. You will take a bit of a hit on gas mileage with a wider tire.

but I wouldn't ask it to do any off-road chores. redactle Why? I think it is suitable for long-distance travel and am intending to buy it to serve my camping hobby. Does it really suit my needs? Agree, long-distance trips are great. Pulling a travel trailer, again great (as long as you don't overlo...

Preaching to the choir here. You should write to Nissan North America with your complaint. Maybe they'll run it up the chain of command (or not).

It's a lot cushier ride, I'm sure for you truck guys, but I wouldn't ask it to do any off-road chores.

Re: Advice needed please

First of all, I wouldn't take much stock in a used car dealer who handles years and brands all over the spectrum. How much can he know about any one particular brand or model unless they specialize in Nissan? Truth be told, the Pathfinder CVT has improved measurably ever since the 2017 model year. T...

Re: 2016 Pathfinder Odometer - How to display

You don't have an LED readout of your total mileage between the speedometer and tach? I see mine as soon as I open the door. It sounds like something got disconnected or burned out. Take it to a dealer. That will be a warranty item for sure.

Re: 2017 Pathfinder heater problem

Just for giggles, make sure the heating control for the middle seat is turned on. Some have posted that the heat flows better. Have you had the antifreeze checked and that it is flowing through the system properly?

Re: What to look for on the 2013+ Path

Have there been any other common issues besides the CVT? Owners report problems with rusted out liftgate struts, radiator fans failing, driver and passenger windows raising slowly, funky air conditioning and heating controls, and intermittent keyfob issues. Thanks. Have these been consistent issues...
