Thanks jman. I initially tried to remove the Spare Tire Winch Assembly, but it is a real hassle without the right tools. I was able to eventually fix it without having to remove the assembly. With the help of another person to crank of the winch, it is possible to reinsert the fallen chain. Here is ...

Just discovered a Spare Tire Winch Problem

Hello Nissan Path forum: I got a flat tire the other day and while lowering the spare to the ground, I heard the chain from the Spare Tire Winch drop to the ground as well. This apparently occurred while cranking, and not realizing the tire was fully on the ground, I kept cranking, next thing I know...

djbit -- I was astounded to learn over the weekend exactly how crazy the smog test can get. I was always under the impressions that the only thing they do is stick a sniffer in the tail pipe and test it for dirty air, but this is only part of what they do. I learned that they do visual inspection of...

I just got to it and replaced it today. I had to lift the front wheel a bit with the jack so I could have some movement space. It was difficult to get the sensor to come loose as it was screwed in there pretty tight, there's not much wiggle room underneath to get the leverage I need, so I had to use...

Yes, my mistake ... I meant 4.0L (Original post now corrected)

I just went under there, and I think I located it. This is the sensor located underneath the Driver Side seat, is this correct?

Replacing an 02 Sensor

Hello fellow Pathfinder owners: I am looking to replace the aft Bank2 O2 sensor on my '05 Pathy (4.0L - edited typo ). I've been looking for how-to pictures or videos on the net and have little luck finding a resource. Can anyone out there help me out on how to do this myself? I am no mechanic, but ...
