I'm considering either replacing the factory external cooler with this B&M cooler or trying to piggy back this into the system.

The 12 quarts that goes into the transmission replaces 12 quarts of old fluid that comes out of the transmission.

I've been running the 9007SU Sylverstar Ultras in the headlights for some time. I just put the H11ST in the fog lights and did notice a nice improvement. I drive with both the headlights and the fog lights on at night.

And there is never fog in AZ!

I had the RT side Catalytic converter replaced under the emissions warranty and I had 54,087 miles on mine.

Sorry for the confusion, I just was wondering if there was a warning system in place if the bypass was done to keep an eye on overheating. I did not mean for coolant contamination.

I was wondering if it had the excessive heat warning indicator that way if I did the bypass I could make sure that the transmission never got too hot. Does the Pathfinder have any warning light if the tranmission is reaching an excessivly hot temp?

The dealership doesn't give you the prices of the repairs but I would probably guess by reading some of the threads on here that at minimum the warranty had paid for itself.

I bought my 05 new and purchased the 72 month/75k mile warranty for around $1200.

I currently have about 61k miles on it.

I've used the extented warranty for:
1. fuel sending unit @ 42k
2. IPDM @ 44K
3. A/C line that blew @ 46K

(I had a cat go bad at 50k but it was covered under the emissions ...

It's no wonder you can't get a decent alignment these days. It's not worth the tecnicians time to go the extra mile for $12 to $15 dollars.

A nice $20 tip for the tech could go a long way to getting a better alignment.
