Confused!

Okay, so doesn't it, in 4 high, still have traction control on? In such a way that if you slide sideways it tries to put you straight by braking the front tire on the outside wheel? Just like in 2wd? And it seems to take power away. With VDC off it doesn't take power away, or brake the outside tire....

Maybe a personal opinion here, but I like to turn VDC off when I'm driving on sand/snow/off road. It slows you down if it thinks your going sideways, which in turn will get you stuck. Just my opinion though, as I do a lot of deep snow driving (work for a snow removal company) and like to keep my tir...

Hey! Thought I'd chime in on this. Was your gas mileage as bad during the warmer months? I live in North Dakota and my truck sits outside now (girl friend, sometimes not worth it), and the choke runs pretty much all the way to work. That's about 15 miles. I've tried plugging it in (oil pan heater) a...

Rear Hatch

Hey guys. I have the 2007 model and I'm wondering if anyone has put the 2008+ electron assist on their rear hatch to help it close. It seems like when it's colder out that either I have a harder time closing the door or it just doesn't like to close. Anyone have any information on this? Is there a w...

Battery. Same thing happened to my 2005. There's a few other post on the subject. Can try searching for them, but just take the battery in and have it tested, more than likely it's just under the starting amps required. Or better yet just try jumping it right off the bat, if it starts then that's yo...

The same thing happened with my 05. I brought it in and it needed a new battery. It would never start on the first crank but the second it usually did. Same symptoms but usually started on the second try. So maybe get your battery check and see if it's at the correct voltage.

Good luck!

Air Conditioning

Hey guys, I hope this is an easy fix. I have an 07 pathy and with the air conditioning running (just front) it seems to drip a lot of water. That doesn't concern me that much but what does concern me is that it drips a lot of water on the passenger side floor board. I drove 600 miles last weekend an...

Okay, might be a really dumb question. Is there a difference between the 2wd shocks and 4wd? I know on other models there is but haven't looked into it on the pathfinder. I swear my 05 2wd was way sloppier in the corners than the 4wd, but the 4wd is significantly slower, especially in 4wd, it needs ...

I've had this happen too. Never thought too much of it. It's only happened when snow or mud is involved. Mainly when snow drifts are on the roads that i travel and i usually have to turn vdc off anyways because otherwise it will just slow you down. Good luck and hopefully this isn't a problem. Alex

Wish I had some better pictures of the pathfinder, unfortunately most of my pictures are with the phone and not a high enough quality. He's my 05 with my boat behind it. Don't know if any of you would be interested in a pathy with some boat behind it. http://i1191.photobucket.com/albums/z469/Rebel42...

Here from North Dakota

Hey guys! Been watching this site for a couple of months now and decided to finally register an account. I'm located in Fargo, ND. I have a 07 Pathy S 4x4. And it's a great vehicle for what I need. Before this Pathfinder I had an 05 SE 2wd Pathy and before that I had a 99 Ford F150 4x4. My dad got a...
