I took the word Pathfinder off the back but was scared to tackle the
badge w/o knowing.
i didn't pull the big nissan badge. but i will guarantee you there are two alignment holes behind that rascal. i'd bet a paycheck on it.

has anybody removed the chrome hatch trim?

i've de-badged most of the truck, plasti-dipped the grille, night shaded the tail lights, and today i semi-gloss blacked the wheels. i need to black out that chrome plastic strip above the release handles on the hatch, and i'll be happy. for a while. i don't want to mask around it, because i like to...

on 87 or 89 octane swill, i averaged about 15mpg on my 10 mile per day round trip to and from work. that sucked. now i drive 3 blocks to drop the kiddos at day care, drive back home, and jump on the old-ass suzuki to go to work. 52 mpg, and 8 bucks fills the tank.

i was thinking frontier. seems like the main structure would be right for supporting everything.
it's not an option for me anyway, because my wife drive ours on the weekends to haul the kiddos, and she is a girl. no interest from her on rowing her own gears.

on my '09, there are holes behind the nissan emblem on the hatch, but the
'pathfinder' was just on with adhesive. a little wax and you can't tell it was ever there.

fog light filler plugs

looking to add fog or driving lights in the factory holes. anyone know how the plastic blanks come out?
and if i can't find lights i like, i'll use the holes for brake cooling ducts for when i autocross, or run a gymkhana.

could be a choked fuel filter, or a dozen other things. have it checked out before you write the check.

whats involved with removing the grill?? seems like a lot of plastic connectors? does anybody have a quick step-by-step? thanks there's about 6-8 pop out plugs across the top, with 2 or 3 behind the grill down low. just pull up on the little round bit in the center with a pair of needle nose pliers...

could be just the solenoid, not the starter itself.
