I'm not convinced... The damn thing is driving really well right now. I guess only time will tell. By the way I've made it pretty clear that I am WAY over 85000 miles. NO WARRANTY. Anyone have anything constructive to say?

Stop driving your Paathfinder until you drain the antifreeze out of the transmission! You will destroy your transmission as others already have. I may have just avoided failure by immediately doing the bypass and getting the nasty water/antifreeze OUT of the transmission by whatever means necessary....

Check out my post in the Engine/Drivetrain section dealing with this same issue. I have recently dealt with the problem and I am waiting to see if my work will pay off. I believe if you get to the transmission and get the antifreeze out of there ASAP you can save your transmission or AT LEAST extend...

Check out my post in this same section about my recent experiences with this issue. I just bought mine and it has 119000 on it so warranty coverage is a fantasy. UPDATE! Here's an update to my situation folks: I have now put over 3000 miles on the Pathfinder since I discovered fluid contamination and performed the radiator bypass.
