Which option is more recommended, taking into consideration installation complexity, price and first of all functionality. I would like to do most of the job myself, excluding installing hardware and physically modifying bumpers. Model is 2007, LE (diesel), European version. Appreciate any suggestion.

It's 2007. You are right, I was also informed about these things yesterday. At the service I was told I have to make passive regeneration.
