Cooper AT3 for my 2006 SE

I did way too much research on tires, as I always do. I finally decided on the BFG Rugged Terrain. Then my buddy recommended the Cooper AT3 at the last minute. I read all the reviews I could find and people really liked it. One feature that I particularly liked was the high-silica tread compound tha...

Try this out. There is a small icon to the right of the price that says "View on vehicle" http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?&autoMake=Nissan&autoModel=Pathfinder+2wd&autoYear=2012&autoModClar=Silver+Edition&filterFinish=All&filterSize=All&filterBrand=Al...

Thanks for the input. The pads are aftermarket. They didn't seem to be sliding freely. I tried bending the spring a little bit more hoping that would help to move the pads.

I need to pull it apart again and figure out if the piston is retracting.

Front brake caliper not releasing - Squeals

I have a chronic problem with the passenger side front rotor always squealing. So I took it apart and found that the caliper is not releasing well. The pads continue to ride against the rotor when the pedals is released. Has anyone else had this problem? What do I need to do to remedy this? I did pu...

Any experience with Treadwright tires?

I have been looking at these tires as a replacement for the Generals that are on my Pathfinder when they wear out. I don't particularly love the Generals anyway. I found some discussion of Treadwright tires in an older thread, but the title was misspelled, so I figured I would open it up again. http...

It has General Grabber AWs on it. My ballpark estimate is that the tread is a little less than halfway worn down. I have been running General high performance tires on my Passat and my old R32 and they have been great. Apples to oranges, I know, but I have gained a lot of respect for the brand, anyw...

Well its a different transfer case for sure. Not sure if the logic is built into the BCM, but I doubt its as simple as changing the transfer case and the 4wd dial. Yeah, it may need to be programmed in the ECU for that matter. Probably too much work. This thing is going to see a lot of miles on wet...

I just bought a 2006 SE and really wish I had the AUTO mode for wet pavement. I have already had a couple of occasions where I had to shift into 4H on wet pavement.

Has anybody ever upgraded a non-LE to the 4-mode system? I'm wondering how difficult it would be.

I just bought a 2006 SE 4x4 with 76.5k miles this week. I got to take it on an extended test drive before I bought it. It was fine for the first 5 miles or so. Then I started getting some slipping and jarring into gear. I already knew about the transmission failure issue. One of my friends has a 200...
