Tall and skinny are likely to work. If you having a 16" rim I wouldn't hesitate to put the 255/85 (33x10) on a stock height Pathfinder.

Remove the front driveshaft?

Everything inside the transfer case is mechanical so I would think the only way to accomplish a RWD Low would be to remove the front driveshaft.

Went exploring in the Pathy last weekend. Slept in the back at a campsite Thursday night and climbed Mount Ellinor. Definitely a must if you live in Western Washington.

Pathfinder2012,

I just saw this and that looks great! Did you have to modify the Xterra mount besides the two holes at all to get it to fit? How many mounting points does it have to the frame?
