Adjust your rear brakes and, if you have a load sensing valve on your rear axle, make sure it's operating and adjusted properly.

I just replaced a clamp on my 06 last week, so I know what you mean! I use a plastic or rubber mallet to bang on the exhaust in various places to locate the rattles.

I use radiator hose clamps (or, "worm gear" clamps) around the heat shields to hold them in place. In most cases where they cannot be secured, removal is usually okay.
