Thats regular! For our diesels and petrols V6 we change every 9300 miles. Less than that is not needed? This even in the manual. For "severe" conditions they recommend 4700 miles. Normal Castrol Magnatec

Now back to the original post, most people never change their transfer case oil, either back of knowledge or lazyness. This symptom of having to back out in order to go back in 2wd is typical of very dirty oil which prevents the gears in the transfer case to slide easily... Will keep this in mind a...

The Michelins are a great improvement in ride quality and noise reduction. My original BFG's only lasted about 20k miles, same with the Nitto Terra Grapplers. I think I'll get about 40K out of my Michelin Latitude Touring. Next I think I'm going to try the Michelin LTX A/T. Try the AT2's. Love em.
