how are you doing start up and shutdown? Does the carputer turn on automatically when you start the car ? Or do you need to go the back and turn it on manuall ?

one more thing, how did you mount the touch screen to the factory lcd ? did you have a method of securing it there?

another question- what model is your EEEPC ? I was looking at the 701's. Does the screen size on the EEEPC have to be 7" so that it matches the output resolution to the OEM Screen ?

Thanks scarelli, Yes you can setup wake on lan on the laptop , but you need it to be connected to a network to send out a magic packet to the port. You have the right idea, the suspend /hibernate idea is genius!! That makes startup relatively quick and painless. How did you wire up the laptop power...

scarelli, This is fantastic! I have a few questions for you. 1. How is the EEPC connected to the NAv2GO? you said you used a converter VGA out to Svideo, do you have a link for that item ? 2. I know the qx56 has an auto hatch open close, is there any way to retrofit that into the pathy ?

is it a rattle coming from the transmission area? (lay underneath and listen near the trans oil pan) If so, You may have put the trans into a perm. fail safe. I seen one not too long ago.
