my 2006 has done this before; usually when the battery was getting toward the end of it's life. I charged them some and it would do it again. Replaced battery and issue went away. I think I am on my third battery since I bought it new in 2006.

Power Steering

2006 PF V6 auto 173k miles Today, I used some engine cleaner ( cold engine ) and lightly hosed the engine off. I have done this several times in the past with no issues. I crank up my engine today, and the brake light, batter light is on on the dash and I have no power steering. I disconnected the n...

I have noticed this too on my 06 PF, but it seems to be coming from the tube beside these two lines and the outer fender.

It has been really hot and humid here in Georgia!

MAF and Throttle body cleaning

was thinking about cleaning my MAF and Throttle body this weekend. Have the CRC cleaners for both. The MAF looks simple enough to take off intact in the air filter tube, clean and replace. The TB looks easy enough as well, but I keep reading where you will have to perform idle air relearns, etc afte...

SMJ, Last year when I got the code, I took off the tire, inner fender lining and was able to loosen and remove the heat shield without any bolts breaking and I could loosen the cat bolts. I didnt try the upstream O2 sensor. With that said, I can get it off ok, but will the Walker replacement fit rig...

The left bank was replaced by Nissan under extended warranty at 84,000 miles. I replaced the right bank with a Walker converter at 155,000 miles. Then, my left bank started triggering a P0430 catalyst code intermittently at 170,000 miles, which I haven't gotten around to changing, yet, now at 182,0...

Bolt sizes

So, when I change my oil on my PF, I usually drop the skid plate, which means taking off the plastic air dam on front as well.

Anyone know what size bolts these are?I know the head is 10mm. I have lost some and want to just replace them all.
