Sorry to hear about your issues. I've owned 5 automatic and 1 manual vehicles and I have not had any transmission problems yet (knock on wood). So you may just have a string of bad luck or I need to play the lottery more. You shouldn't need a larger cooler. I see a few members here who haul large tr...

I've been looking into the OME lift for a while. If you're in the U.S. can you please let me know where you purchased this? The ARB website doesn't have any R51 lifts from OME. Thanks for your help! I think some members got there at rocky road. They also supply rock sliders. They claim to beat anyb...

Well if it drove fine before the shop did the service and now a day later it does not, I'd say take a look at the drive shaft with the engine off. Maybe they did the job improperly (ie didnt torque to specs or over tightened, wrong u-joint) or something broke.

Wow this sounds like worst case scenario, usually an engine will shut off but you must had enough gasoline to keep the engine running. Burning 1 gallon of oil every 500 miles is insane. I had a truck that needed a quart of oil a day because the rear main seal was blown. Judging by the fact that no o...

Anybody know where I can get some good quality touch up paint in K27 in the pen or small brush (like nail polish) format? I can't seem to find any that are not on some sketchy site. Dupli-color doesnt seem to make it anymore. I have a few chips and scratches I want covered before rust sets in. have...

http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=3084&start=540 Just go through the photos, you will see a few members without them. I am still contemplating about taking them off. I like the look without them but I like the ability to get to the roof for gear, kayaks, lumber, etc. and that they ki...

Mine is loud for the first 2 seconds at start up then goes fairly quiet. As said in the attached link, it's fairly common for the fan clutch to go bad. It is best replaced with the Nissan part and not aftermarket.

Also, I am at almost 1k on the Geolandars, I like them a lot. I will say there is some low road noise (like a rumble) once you start going over 60 mph. Its nothing that is annoying but I noticed it when I turned the music down when my kid fell asleep. I have not had any chance to take it off pavemen...

If you turned it to Auto, then the 4 wheel drive won't engage until the vehicle detects the wheels slipping. If you put it in 4 Hi, then the 4 wheel drive will engage. You should not hear or feel anything really. You should feel the difference once you start driving that you have more traction and y...
