Is there anybody else using this chip? I've seen mixed reviews on it, but at the current price ($90) it's definitely peaked my interest. If there's more success stories about this product, I think I might have to jump on it...

Count me in... And NVSteve... I haven't done the bypass, either. I know this sounds crazy, but mine is still under warranty so I am actually WANTING mine to fail soon. If it fails under warranty, that will just buy me more time in the long run. Granted, when I get close to the 80k mark, you can be d...

My Pathfinder was the first time I had conducted a lot of research on buying a car and it really paid off. I agree, don't talk monthly payment... initially. I went in with a fair overall price that I knew I should pay for the car and, after doing a bit of yee-hawing with the salesman, I got the deal...

I've got the DuraTrac's as well and love them. They are GREAT in any real snow...(more than 2 inches). They pretty much suck in just a "dusting", but that's pretty much expected with any large lug tire.

Mine bit the dust about 6 months ago... Strange how quickly they go without any warning sometimes, too... I pulled up to a gas pump, filled up, got in, hit the key and... NOTHING. Tossed in an Optima battery. A bit more money, but I've had them in other cars and they've never once let me down, even ...

My DuraTrac's do the same in a light "dusting" (less than an inch) of snow, but they're like friggin' superglue when you get into anything deeper. If you're slipping just during a dusting, my opinion is that it's just due to the fact you have less rubber making contact with the road on a l...

The ones that really irritate me are the ones that climb right up your @$$ to the point that you can't hardly see them in the mirrors then, when you change lanes to get out of their way, they follow you and CONTINUE to crawl up your tailpipe... Usually they back off when I tap the brake and make the...

Not liking it at all... I'd get laughed at pulling up to a job site in that thing. While I'm sure it'll be a great UAV (urban assault vehicle), it's just not rugged enough looking for me... :( Oh well... I guess it's the XTerra or a Jeep for me next!

No I haven't yet... I've only got 46k on mine right now, so the way I see it, if it fails it's still on Nissan's bill and I get the peace of mind that knowing once it's replace I should never have to worry about it again. If I get to 78k and haven't had an issue, then yes, I will definitely be doing...

What he ^^^^ said! I've had mine for a year now and it's the best vehicle I've ever owned. I got the "comfort" of also gettting a Nissan Certified Pre-Owned, which also helped put my mind at ease a bit. The only "bad" thing about the vehicle is the gas mileage, which, in reality,...

Finally got around to installing the back up camera this weekend... Works perfectly! While I was at it and had access to all the radio wires, I also decided it might be an optimal time to install the toggle switch for the DVD player. Mounted the toggle in the pocket under the climate controls and wi...
