That's what I did, ordered one last night. I got one that is rubber since I feel it will get a softer but better grip on the battery.

I go to the beach once a month and it's all dirt roads out there. Don't want the battery jumping around.

Battery Bracket

So I had to replace the battery and opted to put in a BOSCH S6 battery (70 amp) but the bracket doesn't fit over the top of the battery properly so one side remains elevated and on the top edge of the battery. This has already created some cracks on the top of the battery, so I want to fix the brack...

Can't get Lucas fuel treatment here (Costa Rica). I hear there is some stuff that cost like $30 that does a decent job. However pulling the injectors and cleaning them out is only like $80 at the dealership and they'll charge not much more to install the plugs. The plugs are all together $50. I can ...

Did i screw something up?

Hey guys, When i first got my pathy i was checking some things and wanted to check to see the condition of the filter. I had a brain fart and opened the airbox while the car was running. I feel the car running a little more rough. Its not missing but not as smooth. So far the car has never had the i...

Where exactly is this label located?

On the top of mine I don't have that label. I have a model stamped into the plastic itself: PA66-GF30 but that's on top of a plastic part at the top of the radiator.

Would be great to find out and completely eliminate any doubt about my car.

1. How do I get a microphone wire up to the rear view mirror? I need to do that to get the hands free working. I've had to run a wire or two up there as well. Simple as can be, pull the small trim pieces off that run up to the headliner (along either side of the dash) & run your wire there. Onc...

UPDATE: After having my car in Nissan they found the problem with the 4WD it's the switch. So I'm going to order one online since they don't have any in stock right now. The problem I have is that there are 3 different models. 25536-EA000 25536-ZP20A 25536-9BH0A That is from oldest to newest. The ZP...

Thanks for the response. I think I'm going to look at changing it. The might cost $300 USD, but it will be piece of mind.

Also in Costa Rica we have the opposite problem. Heat. It gets well past 30 degrees celcius frequently.

In your head unit, you should be able to disable this. My Parents have an 05 Tahoe that has this opition, can't remember what's it's called, but when you put the transmission in reverse it angles the mirros down. The feature is working on the passenger side but not the driver side. I realized that ...

One other issue I forgot to ask about. Are both mirrors supposed to angle down when reversing? Also if the mirror starts clicking to look down what does that mean and is it fixable?

We have not seen anyone with a non-US pathfinder complain about leaking trans coolers That being said, I am pretty sure that your euro-made pathfinder does NOT have a 2nd cooler like all the north american ones, so definitely DO NOT do the bypass, as you won't have any cooling if you do. Sounds lik...

First off, thanks for your reply and answers! What is the VIN on your pathfinder? If it starts with a 1, 4 or 5, its made in Smyrna, TN. If it starts with VS-VW = Spain. My VIN starts with VS. So it's made in spain. Do Pathys made everywhere have faulty radiators? I spoke to the service manager at N...

Bought a Pathfinder, have concerns / problems!

First problem is the transmission. I want to do my best to avoid a $9K transmission rebuild and since I'm at 85K Km I still have quite a ways to go before that point where the radiator will cause problems. Before I do anything else I would like to know if anyone knows where the Pathfinders in Costa ...
