Nice write up and most looks very nice. I would be concerned with the washers as spacers. The suspension has not only a vertical load applied but a lateral load when cornering or going over rough terrain. By using spacers you have created a shoulder and a smaller point load to the bolt location. Th...

Well, this is also the longest I've ever kept a vehicle as well. I shopped then xterras and full size Tahoes, then came across the Pathfinder. I always like the overall appearance of the outside body, the front is stylish and I think the back look awesome. At first, I was thinking it's going to be t...

Funny somebody mentions this, I used to sleep in my Pathy frequently. No camping trips though, I was going through a bad divorce and was trying to save money. Wow, that brings back some memories... So glad those days are long behind me. It sleeps good though, sometimes I'd just leave it running for ...

Touchdown, as said by another poster props for sticking with the factory wheels. Love em man, that is one beautiful machine you made there. I would Love to drive that for comparison purposes to mine.

Good work man!

Hey, post a few pics from the front and rear so we can see those wide tires.

I did all of this is small steps, starting with the wheels/tires. Those alone gave me a much more comfortable ride. Then I installed the front struts, I thought I had bought a new car it rode SO MUCH better. It was time to keep going so I got the rear shocks and thought Holy crap how does this thing...

Everything worked out great, the Monroe front struts gave me about 1" of lift, maybe a little more. Was not expecting that... So, I went ahead and got the medium duty rear springs to bring the rear up. They advertise them as being .5" of lift, however they actaully net just under 2" e...

Here is my suspension overhaul thread...

Well it was time, I rolled 100k early in the spring this year and the ride of my 08' wsa just beyond terrible. to the point where I was not comfortable letting someone else drive it. I would worry for their lives and for my embarrassment as well, it was not safe to drive at all. All suspension was s...

Rear coil spring removal, what's your trick?

I can't seem to get a spring compressor around the coils at all. How are you guys taking out the rear coils? Are you lowering the control arm down? I wanna knock this out this weekend, what's the best way? I'm on my last step of my summertime 2015 overhaul. I'm going to make a thread once I get this...

Likely, it is not an engine problem but rather the a/c compressor "wobble" when it's cycling on/off. Mine does it, there's multiple other posts about it as well.

Turn you a/c off and see if you still have the issue...

Oh man, hate to see you go. I think you provided a lot of people with much useful information over the years from your experience with your Pathfinder. It was the best looking one on here... Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I had to replace mine this very time last year and remember reading up on it and discovering that the aftermarket sensors were not 100% reliable, or the best to buy. I went with a Nissan sensor, which yeah it was expensive. But I've not had to worry about it since. Good luck.
