Just wanted to follow up, took it back to the dealer immediately upon it happening again and they removed the case, determined the replacement case was cracked just like the original was (starting to think they put the same case back in after they messed it up the first time)... don't mind my conspi...

Yes, I get a copy of all work done each time; this is standard practice.

another water leak, but different.

I am posting this to see if anyone has any comments or thoughts concerning my problem. I bought my 2008 pathfinder used with about 42k miles 1-2 years ago. When I purchased this vehicle I immediately noticed a problem with water on the passenger floor, did a search, found the issue and took the car ...

The only thing I can assume is that:

A) something is wrong with the car

or

B) someone was driving with the emergency brake on

I have a 2008 4x4 4.0v6 and we average 17mpg with 70/30 highway/city and even when we do the other way around 70/30 we still get 14mpg.

Re: Anyone install these on a 2011?

The instructions say you may need to drill a hole in the top bumper inside the spring. Just wondering if it's true or not? Local auto parts store has them for $135. Debating on waiting until a mid-summer trip to NH, or just paying the premium locally. Shipped cost is pretty much even with local pur...

I just installed mine a bit over a week ago and used it during a camping trip. I have to say it is money well spent. I didn't take tires off, nor did I drop the spare; I simply jacked up the rear via the rear differential. -Run the line through the top of the arm -Run the tube through the poly isola...

Same, I just attribute it to the rpms changing at idle, whether it be a/c or anything else. If it starts stalling out thats a whole other ballgame but if not I wouldn't worry about it.

are those the stock fog lights? and how much do you think that thing weighs? I want to get one but it is another year until the woman isn't commuting the pathfinder =\ that is unless I can get the Z running.

Speaking of "winter" gas, I don't know how Canada is but the wonderful people in charge in the U.S. are increasing the amount of ethanol in gas resulting in lower mileage. I see a remarkable difference of 3 MPG when I go from regular (no ethanol) gas to the 10% ethanol. When you add up tha...

I've always assumed the engaging / disengaging was related to speed/rpm as well. I put my pathfinder in 4x4 at least once a month during good weather just to give it a few miles. Sometimes it will go from 4Hi to 2wd without any hesitation, sometimes I have to let off the accel and it'll immediately ...

I've noticed after swapping back and forth over 10 tanks that I get better mileage with 93 octane over 87. Mine is a 2008 SE 4x4. I get around 15-16 with 87 and 18-19 with 93. At 20 cents more per gallon over 16 gallons, 3 mpg difference... 7% price increase on gas for a 18% increase in mileage; mil...

I have the Grabber AW 17"s and I took a trip to ABQ and did a pretty long stretch of rock / gravel / dirt trails and the pathfinder did great, tires never slipped either. Most of the trail was steep and I had total confidence, the tires are quiet as well and in 10kmi they haven't shown any real...

We recently purchased the Husky mat, pretty nice! Items still slide around pretty badly but there was improvement. I like the mat but the cargo tie down tabs don't fit through just right, a little cutting fixed this.
