Mine is the same way. I have learned to downshift manually and it works very nicely. I shift down to the next lowest gear when it gets to 1200 - 1300 RPM's. Coming off the HWY I can almost downshift it to a stop without using the brakes (when you do this you will see your MPG’s go up on the screen)...

I would usually agree on extended warranties not being worth it but in my case it was. (extended warranty was for 7 years / 75,000 miles for about $1500) Plus I had about $400 worth of claims prior to the one in the below thread that was for $2500. See this thread - Just wanted to post my experienc...

For those of us who bought an extended warranty/ service plan, how much did you pay? I'm trying to see if the price I was offered is to high. I have 30,000 miles on my 2010 PF and was quoted $2421 for Nissan Security Plus - Gold Preferred. 8 year/ 100,000 miles $100 deductible. I can put 10% down (...

Hi hfrez, I am now looking into the VOLO chip more seriously. Are you noticing the increase in HP and torque as advertised as well as an increase in MPG? Can you feel the difference when you accelerate? Is it worth it? Yes in all areas; however, I do have a cold air intake system from K&N and i...

Sooo. I am amazed to see the mpg you guys are getting. I have a 2005 SE and have never gotten better than 18-19 on long drives. I usually have cruise set on 78 all the way. I always wondered how accurate the mpg gauge was. Am I missing something here or are the newer models that much better on gas....

Things you need to know.

What I did not see mentioned here is the installation of a Weight Distribution Hitch with Sway Control. This would take care of most of your problems you mentioned and costs about $400 if you install it yourself. AirLift helps but will not carry the weight you discrbe. A Brake Controller is a must o...

Take them to small claims court without an attorney. Will not cost you much and with a certified letter from another mechanic (who must be Certified as a Nissian mechanic) you will stir up the hornets' nest. Most likely they will not let it go to court and you might be able to get the deal of a life...

I noticed that wind speed and direction will also influence your gas milage greatly. With headwind I got as low as 17.5mpg and from beind I got 23mpg's once or twice.

I think the Bug Shield is doing its job. It keeps the hood from being hit by bugs and of course the front lip. I like how easy it cleans up after a good bug swarm intermetzo. Soap and water takes all of the guts right off. I just wih the bumper was that easy to clean. I also noticed that my hood no...
