Iced: Thanks for the info on the OME springs. I am going to go with the loaded Rancho Quicklift and XL9000 rear shocks with the rancho rear spacer. It seems to have good reviews from the guys that are running that setup and the stiffness of the shocks is adjustable which I think would be nice to hav...

05pathyse: Thanks for the info. I think after seeing what you did in the end, that is the direction I am going to go with to start. If it doesnt work out I will contact you about the springs. Which spacers did you end up with? Just the standard spacer from 4x4 parts (https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/...

For those of you who have the spacers in the rear. What are you using for a lift in the front? I have been looking at the Rancho Loaded Quicklift struts to get a 2" lift in the front. I have not yet decided if I am going to go with the spacer or longer coil springs in the rear. I know the space...

I thought about painting my calipers last week when I installed new front brake pads and rotors. I am still thinking about it now that I know how easy it is to get the parts off. Go for it and save yourself the time of tearing things apart again like I am going to end up doing!

That seems to be the right way to do it. Right now my plan is the loaded quicklift for the front and new springs and shocks for the rear. Should be able to get me the 2" lift I am looking for. I know this will be putting me at about the end of what can be brought back into alignment after the l...

I have not tried that stuff before. I am going to be putting in a suspension lift soon and will be trying PB Blaster out for those bolts.

I ran across the front quick lift loaded shock this afternoon and was wondering if anyone had used these yet? Here is the link to them. https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-front-quick-lift-loaded-shock-p-6211.html I am looking to get around 2" of lift out of what ever kit I choose. I am ...

Things went pretty easy last night. Other than the large 19mm bolts. Those were a pain in the butt even with a breaker bar and 3 foot extension. A little WD-40 helped a lot!

Front Brake Replacement

I am going to be putting in new front rotors and pads tonight on my '06 SE 4x4. Any tips from someone that has done it on the R51 before? I have done a few brake jobs on other cars in the past and there are always a few things different about every car. Anything special to look for or helpful tip fr...

Thanks for the info. I found the same place last night you are talking about for feeding the wire to the relay and it worked out great. I am still not quite sure where I am going to pull in the 12V signal. I was thinking the top power outlet on the passanger side but it is not the easiest to get to....

power supply and wire routing?

I am trying to install some aux lights on my pathfinder very similar to what has been done here already. I have the lights and switch ready to go. What did you use for power supply to the switch? any suggestions on how to run the relay wire through the firewall?
