Re: How To: Fix Rear Alignment After lift

Alright, time for another update. I brought my Nissan back to the shop after getting my overseas lower control arms with the offset bushings from super pro suspension https://i.imgur.com/qOYdfoTl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/GFpGOn7l.jpg https://i.imgur.com/oX0Lh9ll.jpg https://i.imgur.com/aieB5Yol.jpg T...

Rear Alignment Hell Part 5

Alright another update. So, here’s an interesting development I’ve discovered on our alignment situation. When shops align the rear end of the vehicle, their goal is to do a “toe and go” Essentially, set the toe in spec and get the camber somewhat adjusted if possible. Well, in the rear of the R51 p...

Re: Rear Alignment Hell Part 4

Another note, I also noticed that the rear lower control arms only have one camber bolt for adjustment. LAME  My question to someone on this thread would be: Can you weld on a camber gusset plate on both sides like this: https://i.imgur.com/wYytkv7l.png to the lower control arm mount that does...

Re: Rear Alignment Hell Part 3

Alright, so the bushings work on USA Pathfinders but are specifically made for Aussie/European Pathfinders. What is the kicker? Here is what I know: The only reason why these bushings don't work on our USA pathfinders is due to the diameter of the offset bushings. Nissan for whatever reason decided ...

Re: Rear Alignment Hell Part 2

Alright, so you have seen the crapshoot I am in currently and are wondering what to do? Well, I am in the same boat but ill tell you what I have done to try and fix/lessen this issue. First off, Superpro suspensions make offset bushings. These bushings look like this: https://i.imgur.com/NAzPWMel.jp...

How To: Fix Rear Alignment After lift

Alright, so most of you have probably have seen my rig at some point on this forum but if you have not, here it is! https://i.imgur.com/FOrSxbYl.jpg It is one of the few handfuls of Pathfinders in the USA on 35s and one of maybe 2-3 that has a titan swapped front end with a 6-inch drop bracket kit. ...

3.69 Gears installed with Pictures

This topic has been brought up numerous times on other posts but those posts were lacking photos of the differentials installed on the pathfinder so here you guys go! Rear Differential: Info: 1. 2008 G35 R200 Non-Locking Open Differential. 2. 120,000 Miles already on the unit. 3. paired with Whiteli...

Re: Stepping up to 35s

Looks great man. What's your front caster? That could affect your steering. Front caster is dead on accurate now thanks to those SPC upper control arms. The rear suspension is a different story. Camber and toe are completely off and there’s no more adjustment left without more offset bushings. The ...

Re: Stepping up to 35s

Ok so overall thoughts so far driving the Pathfinder: You can definitely feel a difference when stepping on the gas with 35s and 3.69 gearing. It drives how I expected it to drive. Slow to start but slowly gets faster as you drive down the road. It is sluggish from launch and 4.10s would have been t...

Stepping up to 35s

I have not posted in a while on the forum but I thought I would share with the group that I am making the jump to 35 inch tires. To do this, you obviously need to run a large enough lift kit on your pathfinder, commit to trimming your front and rear fenders, and re-gear to a lower gear ratio. So wit...

How To: Nissan Armada Power Folding Mirror Conversion

I ran across this article on one of the xterra websites regarding a mirror swap https://www.thenewx.org/threads/how-to-armada-mirror-conversion-w-auto-fold-turn-signal-heated-mirror-puddle-light-power-mirror-adjust-to-xterra.278054/ I am going to attempt this conversion and let everyone know how it ...
