no shit right? I've pretty much conceded to driving it forever, they're a great deal used if you fix the issue past 80k.

Monroe? I havn't heard anything bad about them.

Bilstein 5100s are valved pretty soft and set them on the bottom notch for zero lift, but check out Gabriel from Autozone too, I've heard good things.

My Raybestos Advanced Tech rotors and pads just arrived for front and rear: $250 shipped with Amazon Prime. Non-slotted, ceramic, I'll let you know after I get them on this weekend. Please. I have the same ones on my Amazon wish list, along with the Akebono ceramic pads. If it seems like a good com...

Get one with a conscientious owner (like somebody from this forum), have documented service with premium fluids, done the necessary fixes (ie bypass and timing chain tensioner) and it will go for a long time past 150k. Find one with 100-110k on it, there's a mental block on that number causing depre...

About 3/4" of lift for me, wasn't my intention though. Body roll is cut down but the bumps are a little rough now.

Good mod overall.

got the new brakes and rotors installed today, 2 hours for all four corners. work great, had 87k on my originals and 2 pads were within 1/16th of metal, so I was just in time. Nothing to it, had my boy out there helping me. I highly recommend the Raybestos, stops great. https://lh6.googleusercontent...

I have lifted lots of rigs lots of ways, body, bracket (ie Calmini), spacers, lift struts, AAL, 63" Chevy springs, spacer lifts etc. I have found that the only way to improve an IFS suspension is by adding long travel, it nets you some lift and adds articulation. That said, the 5100s or a quali...
