Seems like a good time to consider the hoses and any other plastic coolant system parts. Isn't the thermostat housing normally plastic? so maybe replacing that would be a good idea (I may be wrong on this). something like this... note this raises the question, should we use a stock temperature range...

I would say if you looking to keep stockish ride height almost anything should be better then Nissan OEM springs. For a lift it may be region specific.

I had the same issue when i put lift kit springs in. I just aligned each side similarly. Additionally, I tried to have the most robust looking portion of the strings to the outside of the vehicle because they see the most travel. This could be wrong but seems to have worked fine on my vehicle.
