Did Lokka get back to with a price? Or are you still debating an offer? Also, I emailed Aussie Locker about developing an auto locker for the R180 and R200. They at least replied and seem interested in some R&D, although they are finishing work on the H233B 33 spline before other Nissan projects...

I should have some real-world input for this shortly. I have the Lokka and should be getting it installed soon! Also there are E-Locker and Air Locker options for the rear that would make more sense than an auto locker. Is that last sentence a question or a statement? I haven't been able to find an...

From what I have read, the spider gears are the weak link in the R180. Since the Lokka replaces the spiders, it SHOULD hold up. Also, the Lokka will unlock without throttle input. So as long as you aren't gassing it holding the steering wheel hard over, again I think minimal effect. The steering is ...

So to update those interested. Yesterday I called a Nissan dealership in WA to confirm cross compability of the C200K and R200 carrier (or case - differential as Nissan calls it). Good news some of the parts are manufactured under identical part numbers which only further solidfies the RD196 for use...

They look very similar to the Duratracs but based on the ExPo review, much better tires.

My XJ had some Cooper AT3s and I was very happy with them. Cooper seems to be putting out some excellent tires these days.

Some one may correct me here, but I am pretty sure you never were in 4Lo. The only way into 4lo is by first shifting the transmission to neutral. The blinking meant it was waiting for you to shift to neutral before it could shift to 4lo. All that to say I doubt you did any damage.

The Cooper AT3's have gotten several great reviews. I know the set on my Cherokee served me well, both on and off road in Colorado.

And just to be clear, some R51s (S models) came stock with a 245/75r16. So clearly Nissan thought a 245 tire was ok. On this anecdotal evidence about the Tundra, did you use the same exact tire other than 70 vs 65? Tread pattern and sidewall ratings can change the characteristics of a how a tire rid...

This is great news, I had no idea that they were working on an R230 locker!!!! Definitely interested in this! You should hit up Steve at Rugged Rocks. I think that link was from last fall, so I am not sure what progress has been made on the R230 locker. Your Pathy build I found on another forum was...

I don't even own a R51 yet haha. My wife and I sold my Jeep before I left the States for a year and are buying an R51 when I return. My interest in 4x4ing and remote travel started me down the rear locker search. I didn't really want the V8 so I started researching the R200 and compatibility. Steve ...

I am fairly confident that no R51s came with locking diffs from the factory, but I have been wrong before. Although it could be an aftermarket differential locker, but he used a stock X/Fronty button to activate it.

I would want some proof about that rear locker for sure.

So for those who are interested. Working with Steve over at Rugged Rocks, he discovered the R&P, spline count and shaft diameter of the R51 R200 all match the C200k. This is great news because that means the ARB RD196 may fit. Also great news for the R51 V8/Armada crowd is the ARB locker for the...

I may be approaching this slightly wrong. Does anyone know the technical specs for the R200 carrier? Specifically ring gear bolt size. I know the OD and ID of the ring gear are identical on the C200 and R200. And both are 31 spline so I am feeling like it should work. Just want to get a little more ...

R200 Rear Locker

Has anyone installed the RD106/RD201 (31 spline C200) ARB air locker in their R200 differential? I have exchanged a few emails with ARB and they have no plans of producing a R200 specific locker but they (ARB) are under the impression the RD201/RD106 (31 spline C200) locker may fit. Scott, the guy t...
