Done Deal!!! $450 shipped! Very Happy!
Also decided to buy the Cooper AT/3's and save a few monies on the NITTO Grapplers.
Now I can swap my tires seasonally w/out paying others (until the rubber needs replacing'~')

I was running an '05 LE 4x4 towing a 28' Travel Trailer and was JUST barely under all maximum weights, except my tongue weight. I use a Weight Distribution Hitch which helps a great deal, but I'm still slightly over my tongue weight. It drove sooooo smooth. I had zero complaints. I just thought sinc...

2012 Pathy wtih 137k miles

I just lost the ’05 Pathy shown in my profile picture with Travel Trailer. Insurance Co. totaled it and she is gone forever (so I can’t take parts off of it). I now have a 2012 Pathy LE4x4 with 137,100 miles (has v6 not v8 ). I bought it 2 weeks ago and have driven barely over 200 miles on it. What ...

'12 with 137k

I just bought a 2012 with 137,100 miles on it. I love it so far (only about 200 miles so far)

I'm posting a question in the R51 Misc section as I need your opinions on what I should/not add to the new car for what I'm using it for. All details are in that post, thanks!

TONGUE WEIGHT

Well the tongue weight was exactly what we thought... 760 lbs.
SO, I am officially over Mfg. Recommended Max Tongue Weight (even when using the weight dist. hitch) by 160 lbs.

Let me rephrase that...
Does 'Dry' mean:
1) no gas in tanks?
or
2)no tanks at all?

and does 'dry' mean no battaries mounted on tongue either?

It appears this may be it:
665 Dry Tongue Weight
780 Loaded Tongue Weight

Does 'Dry' mean no gas in tanks or no tanks at all? and no battaries?

I understand that moving things to the rear of the trailer will only have a limited effect, any of which I can counter-balance by adjusting the WDH too. I don't mind building a rear cage for the two very large tanks and the battary I have up front. I could build a very nice rear bumper cage and run ...

Yes, I had the WDH installed for everything except weighing the Path by itself today. So if these numbers DO in fact give me an accurate Tongue Weight (w/o actually weighing the tongue) I have 2 questions: 1) Is there any way to lower that tongue weight number, i.e. more weight in the rear end? 2) I...
