I know the flares came on them from the factory, not sure about the nerf (step) bars.

I have a set of the stock chrome rims that I can let go. I'm not sure what "American Racing" model style you are referring to.

Then your alternator bearings were shot.

Put it on level ground and let it sit for a bit....check your indicated oil level a couple of times.

That is a common symptom/failure for the transmission. The short of it is: No, it's not an easy/inexpensive fix, hence the reason you can find them for sale with this condition. The age of the vehicles plays into this also. You can take to a tranny shop for a rebuild, replace it altogether (tranny) ...

It's not a performance issue so just get what's available on the exhaust. As for the CV boots, I found it was just as involved to replace the complete shafts all-together, plus the grease is sealed so it's not as messy, So I did. You normally need a special plier to cinch the bands down (PIA). For t...

Everything you don't want to know .. http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewforum.php?f=38 To sum it up, the tranny is a notoriously weak link. Many times the transmission cooler (the bottom of the radiator where the 2 hoses plug in) can form a crack allowing the engine coolant to mix with the tranny flui...

http://www.justanswer.com/nissan/3m7gs-1998-pathfinder-3-3-v6-crankshaft-sensor-top-bellhousing.html It's at the 11;30 0'CLOCK position on the bell housing. Hope that helps but I would try to pull some codes off of it to help narrow your search for the what might be a different issue. Have you been ...

If your arms and hands are of normal man size I doubt VERY seriously you will be able to manipulate it. It's still a b!*$# after dropping the transmission cross member and removing the drive shaft so you can tilt the engine and tranny to gain another inch or so of clearance. Also, the plug is a snap...

Yes, they are supposed to have coolant. They are connected to a temp sensor diaphragm attached to throttle body. If my memory serves me correctly, you can replace them by only having to remove the throttle body assembly on top of them, the hose pieces are somewhat short. Air plenum has to be disconn...

You have a leak somewhere. The first place I would check is the brake system where the shop worked. You should see the wetness if it drained your master cylinder to the point of triggering the light. Make sure those fittings are tight. If no leaking can be seen then backtrack each line until you fin...

I also tossed many of the heat shield pieces. Tin snips and my angle cutter worked wonders on getting the loose, rusted pieces out of the way. Can't say I have noticed any extra heat permeating the cab ...just quiet(er).

mine??...oh it's been done for a while now. I did finally take it to a knowledgeable Nissan guy due to the missing under hard accelleration. It would start fine, idle fine, run fine and hold a steady speed smoothly but when I hit the accellerator hard it would miss as it was accellerating. Come to f...
