DIY: Change the serpentine belt (V6)

Just changed this belt on my 2006 V6 as it had an occasional squeal and 78k on the odo. I know some others have asked for a DIY on this, so here's a quick write up post change. Originally it was in this thread - http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=8093 1. Gather what you'll need: - 10mm soc...

I'm the opposite - I hate having any car chirp or honk when locked - I can hear the doors lock and don't need to advertise my arrival/leaving my car.

Replacing a headlight assembly is basically a bolt off, bolt on operation. Upgrading to HIDs is typically plug and play but there can be the occasional modification needed. That said, if you are halfway decent with a project and have a few basic tools, you can replace your headlights. I'm trying to ...

Since we're on the subject, do any of the aftermarket sensors have replaceable batteries?

Factory TPMS - no way to drill out and change battery?

It seems like a big waste to toss out an entire TPMS sensor simply because bad design has the batteries sealed inside them. Rather than buy a new sensor at $50-90, has anyone looked at the feasibility of replacing the $2 battery? Can the TPMS be pulled apart at all, drilled into, etc? http://www.clu...

I've been doing some digging on the aftermarket lights, and from what I can tell, CG/Anzo is by far the best quality aftermarket option. Other companies like Spec-D and Spyder are not as good quality, and many people go the eBay route and buy knock-off brands to boot, which seem to also have bad qua...

Thanks. I think I am going to order one of the kits Spyder, CG, etc, and I guess they come with a bulb and ballast each, but I doubt they'd be as good as a bulb and ballast from DDM or other better HID companies.

Even if you take it in, you can't pinpoint which sensor unless you reregister them first. They get mixed up with rotations, winter tires etc. you have to re-reg, then drive until the code comes up, then scan to confirm. Other wise you might get a left-rear code, but really what was the left rear is...

I replaced my license plate light bulbs with dim LEDs when one of the original bulbs burned out, and other than the PITA that is involved with getting the inside plastic panel back on properly, there wasn't much to it. The inside panel does now pop loose right where the grab handle is - one of the p...

It's a 9007 so you'll need the bi-xenon. I think that's part of the reason the HID's don't do much particularly on hi-beam. When it moves the bulb it just scatters the light instead of making it brighter. Thanks. I was looking at some of the aftermarket kits and it looks like they go to two bulbs -...

Just to be clear, when you go to HIDs, you need bi-xenon?

Since I'm looking to upgrade my 2006 Pathfinder's headlights, I also want to be sure I'm clear on the bulb I'll need, since I can't get a good view from the other posts here. The way the Pathfinder is wired, do I need a bi-xenon HID for plug and play, or does the Pathfinder use separate low and high...

I know with the housings that the actual projector is what makes the light output good or not. Then there is the overall build quality of the housing and features like the looks.

Projector options for HIDs

I know the topic has been discussed before, but I don't think I've ever read any discussion on particular brands of lights, just read about people that bought eBay kits. Looking at this site : http://www.carid.com/2006-nissan-pathfinder-headlights/ I see several brands available. Has anyone used any...
