Right, a lot of people do drill into the roof. I guess I wouldn't trust myself in making sure it was sealed good enough to last a few years. I would be afraid after a few hot and cold seasons that the seal would fail and allow water in and causing permanent damage/corrosion. It does look much cleane...

Thanks guys, after reading up on RockyMtnX on the thenewx board and DiBos thread, I'm just going to make my own. Ordering the metal from Metals Depot cost me $35 shipped. Just need to find someone local to cut the shapes and holes. I'll post my results.

Recovery Points

Anybody know where to buy recovery points? My LE doesn't have a tow hook in the front and I might as well spent the extra and get better recovery points. The only thing I have found is a AUS company but I don't know if they are reputable. http://www.aironboard.com.au/store/front-rear-recovery-tow-po...

Have you replaced the belt and tensioner at all? The OEM tensioners are known to be weak. Mine would whine or chirp when it was cold. I replaced it with the Gates enhancement kit and haven't had a problem since. Maybe take the belt off and start it a let it run for 10 secs to see if that eliminates ...

I don't believe so. According to the forum and the NGK website, you want LFR5AIX-11 for the NGK Iridium IX plugs.

Looks real good, I plan on doing mine this weekend. I waited until I got some new tires. My brother plastidipped his wheels on his Dodge Dakota and he beat that thing until the rear diff was about to go and traded it. The plastidip on the wheels were 3 years old and still looked good.

Got some new tires - Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015

The Bridgestone Dueler ATs that were on my truck when I got it, were worn down to 3/32nds and had a fair amount of noise and vibration. There were cracks at the base of the lugs, so I was in need of some new tires. I was deciding between the Hankook Dynapro ATMs, General Grabbers AT2s, Cooper AT3s, ...

I have had my Pathfinder for a few months but I have done plenty of mods to my previous vehicles (Chrysler 300, S10's, Luv) #1 - If you have not found any aftermarket grill that you have liked and have not found anything on here by using the search (the search icon under the header, not the google c...

Check the connector for the throttle body sensor. Maybe it came loose or water/dirt got in. Also check the vacuum hoses as well.

. Also, from my understanding even flushing the trans can eventually still cause issues again w/ the trans. Just my 2 cents. That's a common misunderstanding about flushing the transmission. This video talks about why a flush could cause problems. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o690DovjDAc&t=5...
