Check with your local Ace or independent hardware stores. I found several places that can do transponder keys for around $60 in Austin. The only difference is that the key is a copy of your current transponder key rather than a unique transponder key that the dealer will make.

I'm curious to know if they find anything. I noticed with my 09 that I have to depress the brake much further than most other vehicles to disengage the cruise control so I generally use the thumb switch.

I searched a little more and this seems fairly common with various Nissan models. Several people said that said you should shut off the ac compressor for the last few minutes of your drive home every day and leave the fans running. Ozium by itself didn't work long, this time I will try Lysol then Oz...

Musty Smell When AC is turned on

There is a musty/moldy smell for the first 1-2 minutes after the AC is turned on. Sometimes it is hardly noticeable and other times its really strong. Is this normal for Pathfinder? I've never seen this on other vehicles unless they were really old. Cabin air filters are fairly new, no problems with...

09 Pathfinder and it recommends Premium but running 87 with K&N drop in filter we get 19 MPG commuting mixed driving 22-23 MPG highway depending on speed Since we get such great MPG on 87 I wish the wife would run Premium only for 4-6 weeks and log MPG but that will never happen because she is a...

It looks good, but in TX we have to put our yearly registration and inspection stickers on inside of windshield so after one year the tint would get torn up

It depends who issued the warranty but generally consumables like oil, fluids, bulbs, etc.. are not covered. Read your paperwork

09 recommends premium fuel but runs great on 87 and mpg seems same as with premium. Oil is 5W-30 standard but using synthetic certainly wouldn't hurt anything. Planning to switch oil to full synthetic after warranty expires but its going to the dealer every other change till then so synthetic isn't ...

Congrats man, we still have 3 years on the Pathfinder but the car has been paid off for years. The next month it was like getting a raise. Even though an older vehicle requires more maintenance an extra $50-100 a month averaged out over a year is much better than a car note.

On closer inspection the front fender is slightly buckled too. Repair estimates from $1300-1700 so we are going the insurance route. If this were an older vehicle I would just smack out the dents to my best ability and live with it.

I need to look more closely tonight but it lseems like the plastic is jacked although knocking it out wont hurt it any more lol Yeah I doubt I will do it myself just trying to keep options open since the insurance just went down significantly 2 months ago. The bumper cover is $225 from Courtesy part...

Ouch Front bumper replacement difficulty level?

The wife had a run in with a pole and lost. I'm considering buying the bumper cover getting it painted then mounting myself. How difficult is this on an 09 to get proper factory look and fitment? Is it a one man job for somebody with intermediate skill level? The carnage  http://img339.imagesha...

I think the 08-10 had an updated headlight assembly. I saw some threads about a retrofit here but nothing on projectors. If there is nothing on ebay they probably don't make them.
