VVT Sensor p1145 2002 SE

So I'm getting this pending code but no check engine light so I figured I'd preemptively change both sensors. Rockauto has UltraPower and SKP, is there a brand preference?

Cheers

The methods are similar to how you would remove a bolt or screw which has been rounded out.

A couple of ways. Cut a slot in the head and use a flat head.

Jb weld a nut to them.

Borrow a tap and dye kit from an auto parts store

Use a reverse thread bit.

Have you inspected the CVs? I would get it on a lift and inspect all of the front suspension components.

Sometimes doesn't start in P, but always in N. - 02 SE

Occasionally mine will not crank in Park, but if I put it in Neutral it always does. I know it's likely a sensor, but was looking for more specific info. From what I've read, a bad switch would throw P1706 code, but would that trigger the CEL? Will it only throw the code while failing to crank? Bear...

Preemptively replacing sensors. 2002 SE.

Since I plan on keeping it past 200k I’ve been playing around with the idea of replacing sensors before they go bad. Ignoring ones like the O2 which don’t really affect drivability, what are some of the sensors/things I should consider to avoid getting stranded?

Is there a Boss headunit from a different Nissan with an aid-in which would drop in?

Maybe not the normal stereo question 02 SE

Here are my stereo symptoms on my 2002 SE, and yes it's a Bose head-unit: 1. Front driver-side speakers are out, door and A-pillar, but when playing I hear a light popping sound from the A-pillar speaker 2. CD will skip if you look at it. 3. When using my iPhone through the tape adapter which works ...

Other suggestions: My windshield seal was loose , black plastic part, it would pool up in drivers side. I sealed it back down with that black adhesive 3m and black electrical tape never came back. ——- There's a drain in wiper motor void area on the side may be clogged and on heavy rain fills up ...

I'm starting to suspect mine is coming in via the cowl area. When I get time (not sure when that will be-lots going on) I will remove the cowl panel, do some major cleaning, and pull the fresh air intake box if possible to see what's up. Also check cowl drains if it has them (some cars do). I poste...
