Re: Please help to diagnose a P0420 Code

[quote="ArchosOne"]Trying to figure out if I have vacuum leak, a fuel system issue, ignition system issue, or failed catalytic converters on my 2006 PF 4.0. P0420 Is the only warning light coming on. However, I am trying to go from, least expensive issues to "F#@K... It cost how much ...

[quote="disallow"]My voltage readings are the similarly confusing, as are yours. I replaced with Denso about 3-4 years ago, and also had an improvement in fuel economy, though it was fairly short lived. You need to watch the trim readings, and its the speed at which the sensor reacts that ...

Just dispatched a 1.5lb rat the other day. Opened the hood and scared me half to death. Nothing a BFS couldn't handle though.

[quote="underworld1001"]Wanted to ask about the sensors. Which ones did you get and from where? From what I understand, the upstream ones are the more important ones to replace and generally the most $$$. As I've hit 101000 on my 2011, I'd like to replace them for preventive/general mainte...

So I noticed my car runs better and is more responsive and the dte is way more than I ever got. Typically it was about 265 per tank and then it dropped to 225 and now it's up to 324! Voltage is still high and only drops in range at about 3500 rpm on the highway. I'm stumped as to why it didn't chang...

I'd say 400-600? Or anything you'd recommend. I feel like there is a diminishing point if return when it comes to shelling out a lot for what you want. I just want something practical and quality without breaking the bank. I appreciate you're reply and further guidance.

Lift me up.

Great job on the pics. You mentioned that you changed out the u joints. Before you installed the shafts did you check the free play of the shaft ends? I'm speaking from personal experience, I replaced a u joint and didn't do that and I still had a humming noise and squeak. I just pulled it out and w...

Have you checked the fluid in the diff and/or inspected the magnet on the drain plug for debris or shavings?

Talk To Me Goose.

Hey everyone. Gearing up to change out the timing chain tensioner shoes on my 07 pathy se 4x4. Got the chains and shoes and tension brackets. Any suggestions as to what else I should replace and whether to go oem or upgrade while I have it open. I'd hate to button it all up and then have to dive Rig...
