It took 3 weeks but my $1.75 light arrived unbroken all the way from Hong Kong. It's quite a bit brighter than the little 6 LEDs I took out. You basically just set the led panel in the plastic diffuser. It has adhesive on the back, but there's no good place to stick it. So far I love it. Simple chea...

In the item description it says that the 20mms spacers will provide 30mms of lift. This is because the strut is not mounted on the outter corner of the control arm. Remember your geometry? 30mms is more than I want up there. It's roughly 1.25" Now I think I'll just get some 1/4 or 3/8" pla...

As always, watch where you're buying stuff from on eBay. The light I ordered on the link above will be arriving some time before the end of May. I'm guessing it will also be broken also after being shipped around the world and and bouncing around between who knows how many couriers over 1 or ever 2 ...

Spacers on Rancho QuickLift struts

So I've finally finished installing the Rancho QuickLift struts up front along with new Moog ball joints and tie rod ends. I put Rancho spacers on the new rear Armada springs also. The rear actually sits at 1.75" above what the Nissan service manual says, so the spacers actually lift as adverti...

So when buying tires online, how do you know if they'll clear the calipers? I figured if you had 16" wheels they'd be good, but apparently not. Should I just get 17" or 18" to be safe? I'd like to get some 285 wide tires that are roughly 31 or 32" tall, but am now not sure what s...

My dad would always have some of that aero kroil stuff in the garage when I was growing. It worked amazingly. I'd all but forgotten about until I saw that Orange can in the link. I just assumed nobody made it anymore since I haven't seen it in a store. Thanks for the tip underworld.

https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3825/33601628026_5b256d157f_b.jpg This is from the 2006 Nissan pathfinder service manual. My wheel arch for my 4x4 SE with 265/70r16 should be 34.88" in the back. I am currently at 36.625" after armada springs and spacers. The spacers are supposed to lift it...

I'm currently sitting 4" higher than I was in the back. I did use rancho's rear spring spacers. And both my springs were broken, so the actually lift is probably nothing from the springs.

The red map light was cool, but too cool for me I guess. I personally just like the white light better. Anyway, I just ordered this monster for the cargo light. You can never have too much light when unloading stuff. I just hope it fits well.

I tried some dry lube but no luck. Maybe some we will free it up. I just worry the wd will make it worse after a couple months on gravel roads.

Can anyone verify that there is some kind of switch attached to the latch assembly? Can I remove and clean it?

I have impact sockets. The chrome craftsman socket broke with a 24" breaker bar.

Resurrecting a 9 year old thread. Does anybody know where the switch actually is? My rear hatch light only turns on manually or when opening the glass. It never comes on when opening the liftgate.

These are the led lights I bought and they are a huge improvement over the stock incandescent bulbs. I don't know what the proper size is for our lights but the bulbs I took out were a little bit longer than these. I needed to bend the retainer in a just a hair to make them fit securely. If you can...

Pancetta, you are correct. There are 4 bumpers. For some reason on the link I posted earlier, the website say, "quantity per vehicle: 2" There are clearly 4 on my tailgate though. My litigate rattle has stopped since I put my new springs in. Both of the old one were broken.
