Nice looking truck. That red looks really good with the dark tint.

I did my lift about a month ago and am just trying to put some miles on the tires before I commit to a new set. I was looking at finding something around a 33" tall tire.

What brand and model are those? They look good.

16" wheels on 2011 Pathfinder Silver Edition?

I have only had my 2011 Pathfinder for a month or so. I installed a 2" lift with Bilstein components and rear spacers. I plan to add new tires around October. The truck came with 17" factory aluminum wheels. I like them fine and really don't have much desire to replace them. But I do reall...

that is really odd. I used the same Bilstein 5100s on my 2011 Pathfinder. I installed them several weeks ago using the factory coil springs. My truck only has 20k miles on the clock, so I would assume the springs have a little more life in them. That is, unless you replaced yours with new ones when ...

I live in South NJ. I could be talked into selling them off my 2011 if you possible had the cross bars offer on the factory roof rack you were willing to part with. Not sure if a meet up near Baltimore would be out of the question.

Let me know.

Interesting question. I called NAPA looking to get a set of replacement upper ball joints from MOOG. They no longer sell MOOG and the upper ball joint comes complete in the UCA. I thought that was weird and a tad overkill. I haven't started looking again yet as I am considering putting in long trave...

The lift kit options for the R51 Pathfinders, will boil down to the following: 1) how much do you want to spend 2) are you concerned with articulation for off road performance 3) are you more concerned with higher stance and mostly on road manners I went with the Bilstein ride height adjustables in ...

Front suspension is the same. The rear suspension is completely different as the Pathfinder is an independent rear (IRS) and the Frontier is a solid axle rear.

I would look at a local junk yard or salvage yard. If the local one doesn't have them, see if they can refer you to a yard that deals with Nissan. I worked at a yard in while I was in college. They used a system called Hollander (not sure if it still exists or was regional) but it would allow them t...

Cool setup with the hardtop lift in the garage. Before I scrolled down to see those pics I was about to make a smart comment about the tire shop taking your doors and roof :D Good luck with the Jeep. I have several times picked up slightly used tires off of Craigslist. Plenty of people "upgradi...

Patomwazi- Oly has had his lift on much longer than I have. I would trust his opinion on e Ranchos front struts. I was told some negatives about the Ranchos rear shocks and w somewhat skeptical about how well the adjustment knobs would really work on the struts. I had more experience with Bilstein a...

More forums, but unlimited amounts of ability to spend money and keep your wallet empty. The aftermarket support, as you already know, is limitless.

Have fun with it. I keep a TJ or an XJ in mind for my son when he is old enough in a couple of years. Though he has his eye on an XTerra or Frontier.

I have the exact setup, with the addition of Air Lift 1000 airbags in the rear coils. I kept the factory springs rather than upgrading the springs at this time. My post of my install is here: http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=9059 I am very pleased with the ride and quality of parts. The ...

Finally, decided to go out and take the measurements for comparison purposes. Sorry for taking so long. The Vehicle Stats: 2011 Nissan Pathfinder, Silver V6. Bilstein 5100 height adjustables on front, with factory springs, strut set to +2" height. Bilstein 5100 rear shocks, factory springs, +1 ...

Doctahjones- thanks for sharing those measurements. it will be interesting to compare. I have the V6 as you may recall vs your V8. I also set the front Bilstein to the full 2" height where you did the 1.5" height. I am also on factory springs on all four corners. I will post up my measurem...

Doctah- very nice photos. Beautiful scenery. I really like the stance of your Path. Have approximately the same lift, except that I haven't upgraded the tires yet. It looks like you really get a bit more ground clearance with the tires. What do you figure your measurement is from the ground to the b...
