1" or 2" Luxlifts body lift - anyone tried them?

I know 4x4parts has a 3" body lift for our trucks but I feel that 3" is a bit much ... I've been searching for a 1" option for a while and looks like Luxlifts has it now. They offer either 1" or 2" body lift spacers: http://www.luxlifts.com.au/nissan/nissan-pathfinder-r51-20...

I know exactly what you are describing and I am experiencing exactly same symptoms. Engine/transmission feel perfectly fine while driving BUT while stopped at a light in D, the idle will drop to about 500rpm causing a fairly noticeable vibration. This gets worse over time. I first noticed it 2 years...

Very informative. Thanks for the reply! I do realize that the Pathy is not the best offroading platform out there, but I really dig the interior and the amount of cargo space we get. I won't be doing any hardcore rock crawling or anything, but I do need to be able to traverse some very rough trails ...

I hate to resurrect an old thread, but just happened to search the forums today and found an interesting post which I have somehow missed previously. http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=2814&highlight=auto+headlights Check the 5th post by SPICOLI. According to him, if the dash already h...

Hey guys ... still hoping for a response. Are there any options other than the Calmini kit once the suspension lift is maxed out at 2"?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Suggestions for lifting in stages please

Hey guys, my ultimate goal is go to a 5" lift however I am a bit tight on cash at the moment and wondering if it's possible to do this in stages even if ends up costing a bit more. Can I simply start with a 2" suspension lift and later add a calmini kit? How would you do something like tha...

Just swapped my radiator with an aftermarket one last weekend. Had no choice but to pick one up locally for a bit more money vs ordering online because the leak was so bad that it would leak half the coolant on the ground in a matter of hours. The radiator was a direct bolt on, made by AutoCool, pic...

The interesting part is that I do have a light sensor in the dash already ... just wondering if simply replacing the switch with the one that includes AUTO position will do the trick, or would it also require a software update. I am willing to experiment, but not with a brand new part which costs ov...

Banging on the panels didn't help, so I guess I'll have to take it apart.

Will try to get to that this weekend... right after I replace my radiator, damn thing started leaking this week :-(

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll post back with results.

Problem with rear heat/cooling

Hey guys, I have a weird problem with my rear hvac system. When I turn on either AC or heat to the rear I am not getting any air out of the vents. As I increase the fan speed I can hear the air rushing faster in the back of the truck, yet still no air coming out of the vents themselves. Front AC/hea...

I was wondering that too. Couldn't find much info on this board, or anywhere else. On my 2008 SE, I have the light sensor on the dash, close to the windshield. Wonder if that means that all we have to do is change the headlight switch/handle on the left side of the steering wheel to the one which ha...

I see what you guys mean about the whole system being a bit spongy but I don't think we can do too much about it. However I did upgrade my worn front brakes about 3 weeks ago with a PowerStop combo from RockAuto (slotted/drilled rotors and ceramic pads) and the difference is quite dramatic. So far I...
