I just got the R52, SL with premium package, will be picking it up tomorrow from dealer. I already looked into the headlamp conversion. The R52 uses H11 headlamp bulbs, which are a single filament. So you wouldn't be able to get a bi-xenon for it. Good news is, H11 xenon kits aren't that expensive. ...

I saw the same tube in the courtesy nissan parts diagram, but it wasn't labeled as drain tube. I guess I'll poke around tomorrow afternoon. Anyone know where exactly the rear evaporator is located in the car? In the FSM, disassembly instructions, it says to remove "rear RH interior Trim panel &...

Anyone know the location of the rear AC evaporator drain?

I have a '05 R50 LE. The A/C is musty, and my 5 yaer old's nose gets all clogged everytime the A/C is turned on (front or rear). I bought foam a/c evaporator cleaner, and I plan on pumping it up the evaporator drain tube. I think I've located the front (I am guessing it's the same as what Nisasn TSM...

The WD21 was a body on frame, and it was used for the Pathfinder and the Hardbody Truck(D21) The R50 was a unibody and there was no comparable truck (duh, it wasn't body on frame), but it was used for the Pathfinder and the Infiniti Qx4 (JR50) Meanwhile, the New truck, frontier (D22) now started sha...

Yup, my problem was also with the check valve. I spent the $4 and got it from courtesy. The valve wasn't checking anything in any direction. It should allow air passage from booster to engine direction, but not from engine to booster... Mine was allowing air to move in both directions but it was act...

Could be a worn master cylinder, or possibly a vacuum issue, as you've mentioned. Good luck! Keep us posted... t I had a local shop replace the master cylinder while in St. Louis, so the prob wasn't the master cylinder. Considering that the brake acts like it lost vacuum during WOT, I am hoping and...

Brake pedal hard to press when engine is under acceleration

I drove my '05 LE from NYC to St. Louis this past week. I do all of my own repairs (replaced front struts, rear shocks and coilsprings), replaced all fluids before the trip, and brake pads/discs looked fine. Halfway along the trip, I accelerated (WOT) to overtake a slow 18-wheeler. as I was passing ...

I am not sure if your SE has maplights on the front center? I have a '05 LE, which has the sunglasses holder/maplights/sunroof control. I did install a Gentex dimming/compass/temperature mirro in my old '01 LE and it was really easy. I popped out the maplight assembly, and then used a un-wound metal...

EVAP Canister? At least that's where it used to be (and what it used to look like) in my '01 LE.
