Alignment Timing

I just installed a Rancho Quicklift system all around and installed Airlift 1000 in the rear. Feels like a brand new ride. That said - I am certain it is in need of an alignment due to the quicklift. I have worn out tires and will be replacing them before winter. I have 4 new Duratrac 245/75/17 sitt...

Thanks that's what I thought.

Is this the correct make/model that is being installed:

Porksoda (or anyone else) Is there a bumpstop or anything like that that needs to be removed. ie. any rust bolts I am going to have to loosen? Or is it just a matter of folding the bags up sliding them inside the springs, running air lines and inflate? I just finished installing a Rancho Quicklift o...

I have a set of 235/85r16 sitting in my garage to go on as soon as I have time. Several guys in the Frontier/Xterra world run them. The ones I reached out to on different forums rave about the traction from the skinnier tire. I am excited to get them on and see how they perform. Thanks Doc - the is...

235/80/17 Anyone Try These

Hi All, I have been spending wayyyy too much time online looking at tires and suspension this week. It is time to ask a question now. I have a new job where I work from home and I do most of my summer driving on a Motorcycle. I do have some highway driving to do in the summer, but I suspect most of ...

For those who have been following I thought I would summarize my findings. Thanks NVSteve for your thoughts throughout. I did two 300+km highway trips this week for work at 110kph and also have a couple of 1/2 tanks of mixed use where I have recorded dash trip readings, Nav trip readings, Nav L/100k...

Okay, so after rereading everything, a question: you are looking at the Nav display which is showing current mileage/fuel consumption, correct? If so, that number can't be relied on for anything, especially if you aren't maintaining a constant speed. It's just a snapshot of that specific moment in ...

If you have the original 2005 brochure, it will list all the models and tire sizes available. You might be able to find one via Google as well. If that year is similar to 2007, then the largest tire size listed would be the calibrated size. But, your best bet is to contact a few people on this foru...

The problem with the Nav readings is that they are based on one tire size, and that is obviously not the same tire size you are running. To give you a better idea, the calibrated tire size for the 2007 models is 265/75/16. That means that everyone running a tire smaller than the 265/75/16 will be s...

I did another test this time around and got 14.7L/100km calculated while the Nav system was displaying 12.9L/100km. so 12.3% difference between actual and Nav system.

Has anyone else seen this much of a difference?

Dash vs Nav Screen Odometer MPG

Hi All New to me 2005 Pathfinder LE as per my signature. I have spent a couple of days searching on the forum and haven't been able to find what I was looking for. I know I bought a 'gas guzzler' but was thinking I could live with 19-20 MPG and so I have been driving around for the first 1/2 running...
