is it a factory alarm or aftermarket? Most of the aftermarket ones you can program to disable to motion alarm / shock sensor. Or you can just unplug the shock sensor if you can find it under the dash.. I'm unaware of the pathfinder having a factory shock sensor though

I cant find any radios that will allow you to see it.. Have you tried looking for a dash kit with new hvac controls? I know they make it for the equinox when doing a nav upfit. I cant find one for a pathfinder though. Generally those are part of the dash kit and not part of the radio. So you'd end u...

go 4wd next time, if you're still having issues try airing down the tires a bit too, give you some more surface contact between the tires and the ramp...

sry to revive the old thread.. Has anyone been able to pull the housings without removing the front bumper? I've gotta put led strobes in my parking lights and I'd really rather not pull the bumper if I can avoid it.. I pulled the wheel wells and removed the hidden screws, before I spend another hou...

Keys

When I bought my pathfinder it only came with one key. After hearing the dealership wanted 30 bucks per key plus 100 to program, I decided to talk to a couple upfitter friends of mine and see if they knew of anyone. Long story short. The dealership is NOT THE ONLY OPTION, Willie, my new key guy came...

Yes, you will need a wiring harness for this. I generally use metra's website but thats only because I order directly from them. Crutchfield has never steered me wrong. The wiring harness is bascially a plug that mimics the back of the factory radio. That way you can connect the aftermarket radio to...

fortunately (for me) I've never had to take one of those apart. I'm willing to bet if you take the thing out, hold it upside down in a vise, and have someone crank it while you feed the chain in, it'll probably catch and you can wind it all back in. While you have it off, spray some penetrating oil ...

I know these fit into the openings, but are they too big to fit next to each other? for example, next to my mirror control there are two open spots, could I put two OTRATTW swiches in there? one in each, without them hitting each other? I noticed the size of the rocker on these things is pretty big..

coastal drives customers postal...

I could spend hours talking about how awful coastal Nissan is. They are horrible and it took threatening to call the police to get them to give me the keys to my trade back. I'll walk before I buy a vehicle from them..

There really isnt much else out there. I wanted a full frame suv with decent towing capacity. It was a pathfinder, a tahoe or a 4 runner. The pathfinder was over 10k less than the other two so naturally it won. I do truck upfitting nights and weekends and in the winter time its all about snow plows ...

picking up my 2012 today, 30k on it. First in go the lights and sirens and 2 way radios and then the silver trim panels around the shifter are coming out and I'm wrapping in 3m carbon fiber film. They were heavily scratched from the previous owner so they're getting wrapped instead of replaced. I'm ...

Car shopping now

Hey all, I'm currently shopping for a Pathfinder up here in the northeast. Need to replace my garbage 2006 Sorento. The newer ones are nice, but the motor they used in my vintage was absolute garbage, and after 2 grand in 4 months... its time to trade up. I own a customs shop doing emergency equipme...
