I'm changing my oil today, mobil 1 synthetic and sending a sample off to Blackstone. This is at 6,000 miles, so I'll post my results once I get them back.

Went awol for a bit....that looks good. I'm still looking and contemplating if I want to tackle this project. Probably an easy afternoon project, we'll see.

The idle issue would've been my complaint, however, I just posted about using a Bully Dog 40417 to raise the idle rpm by 125. Even with a/c blasting, it will not drop to where it vibrates. A new found love.

So, ask around and see if someone has a BD to let you adjust the idle, it's what I did.

I have been contemplating the clay bar/wax/polish route as well. Is it really worth the time, effort?? I also wonder how long the nice clean look will last.

How long did the process take you?

I've been checking mine, and can not figure out how to properly read the dipstick. With the car cold, there is liquid on both cold and hot levels. Well, I did my own testing and it works. Up'd the idle RPM which completely took away the drop in idle and horrible vehicle shake, especially when the a/c is on. So, if anyone has a BD Tuner near someone, they can easily install it, up the RPM, uninstall it, and the changes stay. Pretty cool device.

Quick question I can not find the answer to: Buddy has a BD GT 40417. If he allows me to install it and raise the RPM so the vibration goes away, when a/c is on, if I then uninstall it, will the rise in the RPM stay without the BD connected??? I called Nissan, they want $127 to adjust the RPM. Figur...

I'm looking into hooking the wire up to the high beams...so just flick high beams on and LED turns on, then you're not having to hit the high beams and another toggle switch if an oncoming car is approaching. Did you have to trim any plastic where you mounted it? Seems those little cross pieces would get in the way.

That does look great...but how about some night shots!!!!

Also, what type, brand, etc. I've been pondering and looking, and there are so many led bars to choose from...ebay has some good, some bad. Amazon too.
