I will check the level when I get off work. Thanks for the reply.

I bought my 2005 used a couple of weeks ago, at 104,000 miles on my pathfinder. How would I check to see if it has been bypassed, and if not, should I do that?

Unless they're "universal lug" type wheels, they won't fit because the 2005 and later Pathfinders use a smaller bolt circle than earlier Nissans, like the Hardbodies and WD21/R50 Pathfinders. Stupid decision by Nissan, if you ask me! Great.... I will have to check now, because I don't thin...

Oil pressure gauge

The oil pressure gauge on my 2005 goes all the way to "H" on start-up, and never moves from that position. I have checked the oil level, and it seems to be normal, and I don't have a service engine light on or anything out of the normal happening that I am aware of. Is there a problem with...

Odd transmission shift question.

My 2005 pathfinder will sometimes, but not always, shift into a lower gear while going downhill if I let off the accelerator. Is this normal? Is it some sort of engine brake or something? It will also shift hard back into a higher gear at some point, but it doesn't shift hard all the time. Should I ...

Aftermarket rim question

I have a set of Eagle rims that I would like to put on my pathfinder, but I am not sure if they will fit. I believe they are the 15x10 rims. Will 15" rims fit on a 2005 Pathfinder SE? Here is a link to the rim specs with the offset: http://www.aewheel.com/wheels_detail_specs.cfm?id=1937&cat...

Whitesville, KY 2005 Pathfinder

I just bought a used 2005 Pathfinder, to replace my 2003 Chevy Z71 that was KILLING me in gas every month. I have owned a 1993 Nissan Hardbody and a 2001 Nissan Xterra, and loved them both. I hope the Pathfinder treats me as well as my other Nissans have. But for right now, the dealer had to take th...

Re: Radiator first

If it hasn’t been replaced yet, consider a radiator replacement immediately [like last week] before anything else. They have a nasty habit of destroying the trans on these vehicles without warning. Nissan extended the warranty to 8yr/80K miles but most of your vintage are beyond that. Thanks so muc...

Although I would love to have some extra ground clearance, I may not need it.

I would still like to get some imput from the guys here about lifts and prices.

Custom front bumper?

Has anyone ever made a custom front bumper for a 2005 or newer PF? I noticed the bumper seems to go up the side of the fender flares on mine, and I am wondering how in the world I could work around that?

I would like to make a steel bumper in the likness of an ARB bumper if at all possible.

I got about 1.5" lift on the rear wheels by installing the Airlift 1000 kit. Not sure if thats what you are looking for though. I find that the 9-10" clearance seems to be more than adequate, and I've done some decent offroading... t Is the 9-10" clearance the stock ground clearance ...

New (to me) 2005 Pathfinder lift on the cheap?

I just bought a 2005 Pathfinder, after owning a 2001 Xterra and a 1993 Hardbody. I have had GREAT success with Nissan vehicles. My 2005 Pathfinder seems like it will fall right in line with the other Nissans I have owned, but I am concerned about my ground clerance. I do some light farming, help on ...
