Well the EBC is in a different league compared to OEM. I'm still trying to get used to the shortened stopping distance. They feel great with out being too grabby and kicking in the ABS. I've gotten past the break in period and I have had no problems so far.

Yes, it's a PITA. I replaced it at 30k and didn't even look dirty. It sure wasn't the easiest thing to get back in. Just need a lot of patience and a flexible grabber to get bolts in place. It has been a few years, so I don't really remember the steps.

If you have an LE then you have the auto 4wd with shift on the fly. All the others have shift on the fly if it has 4wd.

I think it's a clarion, so it's not a bad brand and probably has a more level output than the high highs and bass domination of the bose. Mids just get lost. I have the LE, so it has the bose.

I used to have that problem in my Saab. It was the condensation forming on the cd's. It didn't matter is the were burned or regular music cd's. Haven't had that problem in the Pathfinder though. My wife's cd's got stuck once, but I eventually got them out. No other problems with the stereo.

Sounds like it went into limp mode. Disconnect the battery for a few and try again. Is the CEL on? Maybe you could get a cheap code reader and see if any popped up.

Have you checked the linkage? Can you feel any resistance? I know it's frustrating to have an internet mechanic try to analyze your problems, but the best the you can do is crawl under the truck to see if anything is obviously broken. I don't know what you mean by no noise, no grinding? It just soun...

Well the good news is that you should be able to get a nice replacement for that amount. What matters is you were ok and the Pathy is replaceable.

Also if you have headlights over a certain brightness, they are only approved for offroad use and can get you a ticket or failed inspection. Just be careful when looking at higher rated bulbs, besides the fact that they could melt your assembly.

Sorry to hear Lucy is on the DL. It sounds like she had cosmetic injuries, but they still add up. Maybe if it's totalled you can take the difference and do a cheaper repair, rather than replacing panels. A decent repair shop can knock out the dents, bondo and paint for a fraction and you won't be ab...

At least the AFE gave you 4hp. Most aftermarket crap doesn't give you that much. Now if you add a programmer to the mix, then you can set the mapping to account for the extra inflow. I have seen on trucktv or something, that they reprogrammed a diesel after an intake and exhaust mod to really get th...

Trim pieces should swap between all models with no problem. Switches and other electronic components aren't always compatible across the range. I'm sure if you had a dealer computer to reprogram the settings, then you could make all kinds of things work that weren't there before.

Not here, but I haven't had mine replaced. It could be a leak around the top of the windshield if they didn't seal it correctly. The wind is probably pushing the water into the crack. See if the company that replaced your windshield has a warranty. They may fix it for free. If not it shouldn't cost ...

It is a pain to change but you can do it. I did it myself and even changed the breather valve. Now that was a challenge, since you are kind of working blind near the passenger side firewall. Get a swivel for the socket and it will make it easier. hmm...did you do what the other guy asked? ...did yo...
